usually it's more efficient to use dogs because when you can't find the hogs visually the dogs can sniff them out, and also they can cover large ranges without making as much noise as a four wheeler or whatever

This is only done for show where I'm from- the dogs are broken away and hogs released. Just out of curiosity-Do ya'll butcher the boars after or is this strictly sport hunting? I've heard wild boar isn't good for eating...but I find that hard to believe. Just wondered.

Great video I worked in Australia in 95 at a ranch and the feral pigs would come in and eat the food put out for our camels near Palm Cove. They were a mix of boar and domestic and quite agro. Awesome time and place. Trying to eradicate them is a mission

Excellent hunt, bravo. That's brave to confront a tusker with only one catch dog on him. Usually in America two catchers, pit bulls mainly, will hang on to each ear and immobilize him for the killing.
