It looks so valueless, but the value is great, each thing keeps happening, it gets older and older, even their souls souls, the food becomes a great tree, yah!
@subsoma Bullet time is a trademarked term that means slowing down a movie action and moving freely within it. If the picture is just stopped, thats not bullet time. Bye.
@ChuckBorrisSkate You need a lot cameras positioned around the scene. (The more the better;) The shutters are synced so they shoot their photo at the same time. After that you animate the still pictures in a video programm. Same can be done with video cameras. It's the same effect used in the Matrix Films and it's called "Bullet Time".
If anyone wants to know how you do it, it's a similar technique to what was used for 'bullet time' in The Matrix. You get a few cameras, eg ten. Then you set them up in a semicircle, facing the action you want to shoot. You have to set them all to the same ISO/shutter/f number. Then you use a timer link to set them off at the same time via a laptop. Then you yell ACTION! and press the button at the right moment. THEN you have to used a frame blender to smooth out the motion between the frames :)
Great composition, would be good to have some more detail about one of those sequences(no. of cameras, tips in putting them together, software used any other detail that could improve creativity).
Still images taken fast after another in various points and animated illusion of one camera movement plus computer generated in between frames describes some of Matrix scenes. It is quite hard to see what technique is used in what Matrix scene. It depends on video what term is scientifically correct. Muybridge pretty much is the main inspiration to all his followers. His stereoscopic images of indians are absolutely amazing achievement. Best use of stereoscopic 3-D. Even better than mine.
@TheLMfaOSHO You are right in some ways. The origins of term bullet time is quite shady. Timeslice video may be stopped motion plus moving camera point. Matrix bullet time is more slowing down things plus moving camera point plus computer generated images which was the reason i really did not think Matrix was so revolutionary. Bullet Time Style effect would be more correct to be used in this video. MultiPointTimeFreeze is basic term i use on some of my work.
Timeslice was before Matrix and should be given more credit. I made a cat jump video in 2003 taking stereocamera shots and several other still shots on a different days when cat jumped the same way. It took aproximately 3 months to photograph numerous jumps which i then animated. Eadward Muybridge was the first true pioneer of this technique.
Thats pretty cool.

what if instead of cameras they have icecreams?
kacatriku 3 months ago
Thats not actual bullet time. Bullet time is defined as drastically slowing down an action not stopping it.

How good do the cameras have to be? How many megapixels would look like this?

Either you need to be rich to buy so many cameras for this effect, or know alot of people with cameras to lend you :D

how do you do this effect? can you make a tutorial on it
ProtocolsMaster 11 months ago
it has to do with plenty of digital cameras and serial link them together to get the timing right!
bernhardtsen74 10 months ago
LoL you get a bunch of people with the same camera and get them to shoot a photo at the exact same time

This is definitely not 3d photos. They're just probably hung on wires, and the water and all that stuff was added
