  • 6 cups of sugar?!! u like ur alcohol mate! :)

  • Where I can buy the other indredients(yeast, acid and blah blah)? Asking at regular store they dont have it. :(

  • @1974bzy Hey man, don't despair. I make homemade wine all the time, similar recipe. I would suggest you get a hydrometer and learn how to use it. It's easy. Check a home brew store, they'll have it all. Besides the juice concentrate, all you really need is yeast, sugar and pure water. Most home brew stores will carry a water cooler where you can refill your jug.

I also suggest potassium metabisulphate (to sterilize) and yeast nutrient.

  • @losermonster My first batch of wine (6gal), including all of the materials and ingredients, literally only cost me a little over $50 Canadian. Subsequent batches will be a little over half that. It's amazing what you can make with a little practice and some patience.

Just to put it into perspective, 6gal is about 25 bottles of wine. A cheap bottle of wine is (at the very least) $6, usually closer to $10. That is $100-200 saved your first run. Crazy

  • You can make your own yeast nutrient by boiling some raisins/dates in some water. Drain the water from the raisins and use the liquid as your nutrient.

  • have u ever used spirits yeadt like hard alcohol yeast for this if so does it give agreater alcohol content

  • This is the winemaker speaking-never add water to your grapejuice-youare defeating the purpose of making good wine.Use juice only.

  • bakers yeast does work however

  • 6 cups of sugar sounds like too much sugar, that including the sugar already present in the juice will create over 3 pounds of sugar in about only a half gallon of juice.

I don't think you need to prepare wine yeast, you just pitch it or dump it into the carboy.

  • Thanks can't wait to try, where is the next vid?
