  • Vietnam is different from any war in American history.

  • @57Mahony What role did Britain play in the war mate?

  • Man there kit looks light compaired to today's shit .

  • Smudismud the Vietnam war was fought between the French, NVA\USSR when the French dropped out and communist forces moved in. USA joined the fight later Australia and Britain joined the war but Capitalists lost the war after the fall of Hanoi

  • It's good to see marines killing the enemy.

  • u got that from platoon princeSamatin do u thing u are mickeys bilann

  • The US Government did not care about those young men......

Kids from rich families were not forced to go to that stupid war.....

This is how America works : The poor people die for the rich people

  • @PrinceSamanti No Some upper middle class people where drafted. And yeah government doesn't really care about it's people, this is everywhere around the world. only People can care about people. Not an office that produces red tape.

  • BIRD BIRD BIRD - BIRD IS THE WORD - AHH WELLA OOOH MOW MOW OOMA OOM MOW-MA-MOW

  • @tomeitngo "victor charlie" is the Nato phonetic alphabet way of saying VC which stands for viet cong, and I suppose the name Charlie just stuck. As for you flamorgan, you can go fuck yourself

  • i love the marines the hard mutherfu**ers my grandpa was in hue city and i am skard to stay ther because i thing he is going to thing i am a goog and slit my trot at nite but he is a good guy. flamorgan the purple heart is for fucking army thy are wosys

  • oora the marines the googs are dead god has a hard on the marines in nam born to kill fu** u charly peace good vid

  • Why do US have to make up names like Charlie or Vietcong, they a just like people who a bloody fighting for their country.

  • @tomeitngo Because they all think they are John Wayne movie stars and like killing 3rd world unarmed civilians for fun, then they cut themselves shaving and get a purple heart.

  • @Flamorgan Generalization is an ideology practiced by people who are lesser minded.

  • @tehatemachine Are you generalising ?

  • @Flamorgan Are you?

  • @tehatemachine Not really, since any war that America has started ends up like the Vietnam war. Lots of dead people and nothing else.

  • @Flamorgan In one dimension. But you have to look at what type of war America was fighting before the Vietnam and Korean war. WWII was a completely justified and Honorable War, It was Also constitutional because The u.S was attacked first by a foreign invader and had congressional approval. the Vietnam and Iraq war I will agree with you by disagreeing with it's purpose of intent.

  • @Flamorgan A country can only go to war against another Country. Rebels, and extremists aren't an actual target. Anyone can be a rebel. Korean war was a different case however because the U.S was fighting against the soviet backed north (which was an actual military and claimed nation)

  • @tehatemachine Did Korea declare war on America or attack America in any way?

  • @Flamorgan Yes they did when they attacked the South First trying to claim it for their own. You really think North korea is a justifiable country that treats it's people well. that has a government that has actions that where justified? You should go live there, Must be nice.

  • @tehatemachine and that has what to do with America can you tell me? America is thousands of miles away and was not attacked by north or south Korea, Vietnam, Iraq or Lybia so why did America attack any of these countries which had done nothing on them?

  • @Flamorgan The North attacked the south yet was heavily lead and influenced by the USSR. The same with the South being backed by the U.S.A. Asking that without mentioning russia in your argument is like trying to hide a huge dent on a scutcheon to an argument. The DPROK and USSR where dictatorships. No argument with that, A country will become a dictatorship whenever it faces having to much government (which we are suffering through right now cause people don't get it)

  • @tehatemachine Still has nothing to do with America nor did Iraq, Korea, Afghanistan or Lybia. America declared war on all these countries yet none of them comitted any acts of violence against america in any shape or formThe biggest dictatorship in the world is America who have declared themselves world police and whos only real intrests in these 3rd world countries is oil, minerals and financial gain. Why does America not declare war on Russia? because they can fight back

  • But Russia doesn't do the same. Not to mention they got their butts kicked in Afghanistan completely and that caused the breakup of their country.

  • @Flamorgan WRONG! America never declared war on Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, or Lybia; all of those were armed conflicts. To stop the spread of communism, the United States government adopted the containment program.

The United States fought against the Soviet Union in the Cold War. The Cold War was fought with technology advancements, spread of ideologies, interest, military power, and economy. The Soviets at the end couldn't keep up with the US, they collapsed.

  • @xSonsofSunsx again I ask, who appointed the USA as the world police? America always uses the same old war on terror excuse to invade other countries for finanial gain or to pillage their natural resources. You need to remember that America lost the wars they started in Korea, Veitnam, Iraq and Afghanistan and not once did America take on Russia head to head, they only fought against 3rd world low tech countries and got their ass kicked.

  • @Flamorgan I'm sorry, I didn't intend to state Iraq and Libya as an armed conflict to fight communism; Korea, Vietnam and Afghanistan were scenarios that the US intended to stop communistic spread.

Why would the United States declare war on Russia? They do not pose any threat to our interest or the interest of any other nation around them.

  • @Flamorgan Your lack of history is amazing. In the end of 1945, or World War II, Korea was divided by the US and the USSR from the 38th parallel. The United Nations wanted Korea to hold free elections, the Soviet Union denied this and forced a communist government into North Korea.

The North eventually invaded the South in the context of reunited the country against the evil imperialistic capitalist.

The US protected its interest and its ally against the communists.

  • This type of aggressive intervention was not new to US foreign policy, just look at Latin America. The difference with the Vietnam war was the media filming it for everyone to see.

  • In 1945 the US had 50% of the world's wealth, in just a few short years China became independent and South East Asia was on the path to independence. China was lost, but South East Asia could be "saved" through aggressive intervention and that's what was done. The 3rd world had to be put in its place in other words. It had nothing to do with Communism, that was propaganda to scare people into thinking it was a just and necessary war.

  • He hopes to not kill civilians? He makes a distinction between civilians and the Vietcong? The Vietcong was made up of armed civilians who were defending their country from an invader, something I am sure plenty of American civilians would do if they were invaded. The US invasion and complete destruction of Vietnam had nothing to do with a virtuous battle against Communism, more so to reinstall colonial rule (US taxpayers funding the French presence) and to stop nationalist independence.

  • Cory Ty failing to take orders LOL

  • NOT ALL VIETS R COMMUNIST RETARDS WHO DARE SAY THAT

  • My old man was here, runnin and gunin in the jungle, sleeping in the rain, getting shot at, killing hard motherfuckers.. US Vets. God bless.

  • V.C are suckers and idiots.Period.

V.C fought for nothing. What is happening now in VietNam ??? Corruption goverment. No humanrights-no freedom-no rights to vote and..........No freedom of speech !!!!

  • @phamlittlesaigon2012

    Vietcong is Vietnamese hero

Vietcong fought for independence and unification of Vietnam

    Shame on you!

  • This was a cold war between US & So Viet Union. If American did not fight in VN, the communism would occupy in south-east Asia. And then American must fight So Viet-China in ASIA. Period.

  • @phamlittlesaigon2012

VNCH is only puppet of America.

And in Vietnamese eyes, American army is invader

  • @phamlittlesaigon2012 it's the Soviet uUnion, not the So Viet Union. The Soviets are Russian, not Vietnamese

  • my grandfather was in this battle. these men bravely fought and died defending the freedoms of the south vietnamese, who suffered numerous atrocities commited against them from the north. we fought for democracy and the right to fight an oppressive regime. to all those that say we fought for nothing and it "wasn't worth it", you disgrace the honor of our veterans and obviously take the freedom you have for ganted.

  • This war from the start was never are business.

  • my brother was in vietnam during all this

  • 79 retards thinks this is Call of Duty: Black Ops.....

    ugh..

  • Ah, the Vietnam War is one of the biggest blunders of the American Empire.

  • @sgnl42 Sad but true.

  • To my fallen brothers, this year, marks the 44th Anniversary of being in Hell.To the 147 buddies who died, Semper Fi.

  • Peace and no more imperialism!

  • 44th Anniversary of Hue.

    Semper Fi Bro.

  • For those who claim that the brave US brought the war in vietnam is a lie. The Vietnam war was started by the Germans and the US went there to help the germans and many other countries that are less known like the Aussies who fought the one of the largest fights. When US went to Nam they we're scared that WWIII would start. But still the ''bottom sack'' in US went to Vietnam to defend their country eaven they we're forgotten by america. Many doesn't still know what actually happened in nam.

  • @skateboarder95summer Went to help the Germans? Your history is a fantasy, you need to study before you make an ass out of yourself. Perhaps you meant French and misspoke?

  • @skateboarder95summer Yeah, most people just don´t know shit about history! When the krauts started the war in nam because of boredom and cold war turkey, the US just came to help them BBQ with the natives (orig. purpose of napalm) and prevent charlie to team up with stalin-mustache-mammoths from mars (true reason they say red planet!). As we all know the charcoal lighting with napalm went terribly wrong but at least the german world war mongers didnt start WW3! Epic win!

  • @c4blew Your a retard, you know that?Everybody knows that charlie hated the stalin mustache mammoths. That's why they are in Skyrim,to prevent arrows from reaching the unicorns knee!

  • @TheKrieg45 Yeah, I knew that already...but thanks for pointing it out! However, the reason why the stalin mustache mammoths are in skyrim is because of charlie sheen, not the vietcong...you mixed that up! The vietcong didn´t love the commie mammoths, but the arranged with them like with the chinese during the war! Thats a difference!

  • @c4blew Holy shit muffing doughnuts....i didn't know that....i need to die for not knowing.....FOREVER ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Vietkong is our Vietnamese heroes

Shame on USA who bring war to Vietnam

  • @BAIYUE1 Shut it up, you mentally ill yellow fag

  • @RazorbackGermany you sound like you have mental issue yourself... LOL

  • @BAIYUE1 Shut up you animal

  • That soldier who treated the soldier who had a piece from a grenade in his eye wasnt used to treat that kind of wounds thats for sure.

  • 'No, I am not going 10,000 miles to help murder kill and burn other people to simply help continue the domination of white slavemasters over dark people the world over. This is the day and age when such evil injustice must come to an end.'

    —Muhammad Ali

  • @COMMUNISTPHILOSOPHY WELL wasnt he a clever dick, took the name of a murderering mongrel. What was wrong with the American Black. It wasnt the white man who went into the jungle to get the slaves the arabs did that and brought them to the coast and it wasnt the west who still had black slaves up to 1970 it was arabs and I believe the Tauregs still have Black slaves now.If they did not like western names use their African names Not Arab Names. Anyway we, never had slaves, convucts yes slaves no.

  • @COMMUNISTPHILOSOPHY respect to the greatest. what an awesome quote it's true

  • Check out my channel at mendomulisha707

    It's no waste of time

  • @MendoMulisha707 Thanks for wasting my time.

  • too my friend and foes A HAPPY NEW YEAR

  • The Marines cleaned Charley's clock at Hue. That is fact. Cronkite did them a real disservice by saying the things he did after a U.S. victory. I don't care who you are, you don't do that and disrespect those who lost their lives and those who risked their lives cleaning that shithole out.

  • @LoneKook Cronkite was a shit head too much influence.

  • @18tangles No doubt about that. "Most trusted man in America" my ass.

  • @LoneKook Cronkite had too much influence and too many polies listened to him.

  • Let's stop arguing people, we have a new Vietnam to worry about....aka Afghanistan

  • @xxZZPOPSxx Calling Afghanistan a new Vietnam is quite the exaggeration. Don't think there have been any drafts or regular enemy army to put up with...

  • My father always filled me in with these stories that all his friends died and shit well its strange to be born and live in a country of peace(Brazil) knowing that your grandfather fought to the siege of 1941 to the end of 1945 and your father fighting in the start of 1963 to 1973.WOW!

  • i rember back in 1965 my crew when in hannoi war is a terrible place the stuff there was hoorible

  • @omgitsarpg it was just an expression, you're not very smart to take everything in the first degree lol and your life is not interesting, nobody is interested about your " IQ of 120 "

and I confirm, the usa is a nation of bastards ;) !!

  • @DjeremLAO yes we are, that's why we still fuck your asses ;)

  • @TheKrieg45 we still fuck your asses too , but we are less stupid than you , son of bitch , go fuck your fuckin' mother ;) !!!!

  • Stop the press!

  • Why you goddam Genere

al did'nt say that press stayss here. Marines 19 yrsl are gonna fight. Goddamit!!!

  • Wow veitnam war looks awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @AwesomeChannelXX “awesome'? Wrong word, “Nightmare" is a better one.

  • We didn't get involved cos it was the cold war. We thought that if we ha a war with another commie country, the Russians would nuke us (just my theory, may be wrong.)

  • Were was the Uk in this war why didnt Britain send troops to?

  • @seb1sim No they had more sense. They had defeated their commos in Malaya and Borneo. They knew the Viets would be a handful and as Vietnam was an ex french colony they thought it was up to the Viets to solve it.

  • @seb1sim because the country wasnt a part of the "anti-communism" or they wasnt fightin' for a capatalism vietnam

  • America still lost in the end of the war !!!

  • Gibe moni please. I repot you! Mordekaiser es numero uno. HUEHUEHUEHUEHUE

  • Awwwww, vietnam, my dear contrry.......... how can i heal all ur pains that wars' ve brought???

  • amazing footage

  • My grandfather was there in the Vietnam War during the 1960s. He was a former Captain in the war. He told me, if I am correct, that he was once captured by either the NVA or the NLF and was interrogated. He'd escaped and several SVA soldiers assisted him to get out of the enemy's camp alive. After the fall of South Vietnam, my grandfather and grandmother managed to escape with the US soldiers who've took them to America. My other family is still in Vietnam and now I lived with my grandparents.

  • @ThePhonyBolognaGuy My grandfather was the ARVN officer during the Vietnam War. He also had a friend who was from the Vietnam's Air Force. My mom and dad, who were teens, lived in Saigon during the Tet Offensive and all they do is stay inside the house and don't come out in case of fighting going on. After the Saigon falldown in '75, my grandfather was taken into reeducation camp and if you say bad about communist, you get your nails taken out. So he stay shut for 15 years.

    Scary though =/.

  • @Hperman09 So how is your grandfather? I feel sorry for those who are taken to communist camps.

  • @ThePhonyBolognaGuy My dad's grandfather is still alive today and is ok. He's like 85 years old now. He told me after the communist downfall in 1991, the VC and NVA celebrated and decided to release all former SVA officers who were captured during the Vietnam War so they release him and take him where he belongs. He chose to go with America where my parents, my sister, and my older brother lives live.

  • @Hperman09 im not surprise of what you says, you know after dien bien phu battle in 1954, of the 10 000 french prisoners, after 2 months in the communist camps, only 3 000 came back to france alive.... it give you an idea how good the communist were ;)

  • @streetmusicdefrance and what do you think the french had done to the Viets in the 100 odd yrs of colonization. The French were not good masters.

  • @streetmusicdefrance Wrong, we beat them in ever battle.

  • @Hperman09 my 2 brothers in law were in for 9 yrs and 7 yrs.

  • brave men

  • Murderous USA in all its glory

  • @LadyboyAgogo blow me!

  • americans didn't need to be in this war always in every ones shit thats why they have the most deaths in every fucking war there has been.

  • @117dirtynz We actually usually have the least amount of deaths. WHOOPS

  • dear friend in war we cant say who good or who bad, just if you see your friend already down and event other army surrender you still not for give them. Just for the real soldier in the battle field please dont kill civilian or hide in there back because if you do that the civilian have no where to go under bullet,

    thank you for reading

  • Americans going into a historic imperial city killed everyone and put the us flag there. Who's the bad guy?

  • @jfizzay Hue is in South vietnam...... So the bad guy is the north vietnamese??

  • @Acekiller29 no the bad guys are the commies.

  • @jfizzay the U.S. did not kill everybody? where did you read that garbage. Did someone also tell you about the 5000/10000 deliberatly murdered by the other side?

  • @18tangles No the US did not kill everyone. You can thank Pol Pot and the commies for that genocide.

  • @mediaphotographer You can thank theViet commies for destroying Pol Pot a blight on America who knew what POL POT was doing but turned a blind eye to the genocide. And then refused war reparations because the Viets Invaded.

  • @18tangles the US liberal leaders turned their backs on the people of Vietnam. When they cut and ran, Pol Pot did his genocide by wiping put 25% of the population of Vietnam.

  • @mediaphotographer no pol pot raided mainly down the Mekong ,Chau Doc and places around there with raids further up but never too far in. The Viets too adept in counter attacking. Anyway nothing like 25%

  • @jfizzy Listen cream puff I was in Hue at that battle. Your comment are a bullshit lie. I was at the flag raising. Your facts are Nescience at best!

  • @mediaphotographer rice farmer killer here ....did you masturbate afterwards & still attend your gay vets day marches with the other farmer killers lol

  • @LadyboyAgogo fuck you bitch!

  • @mediaphotographer shit comeback ...next american moron please

  • @LadyboyAgogo eat dog charlie!

  • We fought hard, Won every battle, Lost the war, due to the Media and Protesters. America had no stomach for what we were doing. Nam was thw 1st War that was played out in our living rooms while we ate TV dinners and watched the carnage on the evening news. Semper Fi

  • @mediaphotographer. You should tell me

More about this war. I gotta feeling there's something I don't know that I should know.

Yes I did research, but there's more to it isnt it? Hit me up

  • Wow. This is real. By the way, I'm 19.

They don't really show dead bodies like they used to anymore do they?

  • oh my gosh nobody seriously cares. people who came to complain about the video obviously didnt even watch it. War happens, people die. thats just human nature and you cant stop it.

  • to all who comment here... If you weren't there, shut your mouth. You have no right.

  • hello:P boom boom vietnam war m16!!!!

  • What a bunch of cowards! They let their man go on ahead alone

  • In my honest to god opinion and please don't rip me to pieces in the comments if you're to respond but I will ALWAYS support the military of the U.S.A as any good american should especially if their laying down their lives but Vietnam should not have ever happened, the sole reason that we went to war was because of fear of the domino principle affecting us but after we lost,WE WERE STILL UNAFFECTED by communism, the government shouldn't have stationed soilders out of a belief something COULDhappen

  • pretty interesting movie filmed

  • TO SMELLY BUM : You can read? well my friend your people and mine were sold a pup. The tonkin incident was fabricated you know made up. You went in pushed the Viets aside told them you would drive the commos out ,found the job too hard could not or would not finish it and like us went home with your tails between your legs.56000 of your people lost for no reason. And then to trump it off refused war reperations because the Viets went in and destroyed that swine Pol Pot who you knew about before.

  • Looks like Iraq.

  • USA got they ass kicked. Damn.

  • @theeone101 politically but not militarily

  • France fault. damn.

  • @Zanghfei yaa for being a monarch and taking all the land and force people to believe their religion

  • @somany5 yes, they put some strict rules.

Even Ho Chi Minh's return, they decline him to enter.

  • Caputo, I apologize...

  • My father fought in Vietnam as an 18 year old for a year and a half starting in 1965...he was not drafted and did his duty and after served as a Drill Instructor for the USMC for four years...never have I hear him complain about his duty...read the book " A Rumor of War" by Phil J. Capitol for accurate account of what really went on their....I don't believe in war, but what our troops have done for us will never be forgotten...God bless the USA

  • I am Spanish and I love the United States and always defend any criticism. CLOSES THIS WAR OF COURSE ONE OF the saddest chapters in American history

  • Face it, the history of that corrupt American government has stained the US flag forever.

  • that flag could have been an exceptional booby trap

  • American politics, military fu*ed up again. This war should never have happened and it certainly should not have gone on as long as it did, 20 years of hell, that is beyond fu*ked up. America should never have been involved in the first place, it was not their war to begin with. On top of all this, they lost the war. Vietnam is now a communist country.

  • @One7823 dude, u stupid?

USA was training south vietnam to fend off for them selves

NVA's then sunk an american transport ship in the gulf

    we declared war

Vietnam war was a -POLITICAL- loss, not a conventional loss

    USA casualties 58,000+

    NVA, Vietcong casualties 2,000,000+

and lastly, get ur fucking facts straight, its pricks like u tht brain wash other fagots with false facts, and propaganda , so next time u talk shit on the USA, get ur facts straight faggot

  • @smellmyclock Typical American. Your blind hatred, anger and "stars and stripes" flag bearing attitude have clouded your judgement.

  • @One7823 yea but we kick ass mother fucker!

  • @mediaphotographer Hahaa you's kick your own ass....yeah.Cool story bro. Kicked your own ass into HUGE mutherfu*king debt...yeah cool story bro.

  • It's amazing to see this humans being dragged put of holes like rag dolls. That just a short time ago they were people. We may be citizens to countries, but we are ALL citizens of this world.

  • @spitfirez it's idiots like you that I just can't stand. We did not napalm innocent people. No way in hell we would ever do such a thing. America was attempting to stop a cruel injustice. My dumb friend it's called Communism, we were trying to keep a country from civil war. After all America has done to stop the spread of communism you really think we could sit back and let a country turn to hell. We did it to help, not to napalm a poor north Vietnamese family... Dumbass.

  • @Jdonnellyelite00 and its ignorant morons like you that allows for such atrocities to be seen as justice. Read about the gulf of Tonkin incident. The Vietnamese did nothing to the States to deserve this. Civil war was already happening before the states intervened. Its their country, they fight their own battles. Yeah you did help..napalm poor girls and spray chemical agents all over the country side...they must be so thankful.

  • @spitfirez89 dude, ur a fucking retard

all fagots that have nothing else to say, say that americans kill innocents

fuck no we kill communist, we helped south vietnam, then we lost politically, then u fagots took over, fuck u

  • @smellmyclock good accurate comment, thanks bro. Semper Fi

  • @smellmyclock judging from your immature and delusional comments, your stupidity is obviously blocking any sense of reason. Yes Americans did killing thousands of innocent people during the war, which is completely immoral. Its complete ignorant morons like yourself that justifies such actions as legitimate. This war had NOTHING to do with the States and FAR more lives were lost due to US intervention for BOTH sides.

  • @spitfirez89 LOL dude,

if the NVA'S didnt sink our transport ship WE WOULDVE NEVER ENTERED THE WAR LOL ur so fucking lame

get ur fuckign facts straight, yes we know we didn't have anything to do with the war, but they sunk our ships while we were training south vietnams troops, wat teh fuck should we do? let it our men die some more, or declare war

  • @smellmyclock its seems you need to get your facts right. The transport ship was NEVER attacked. Read about the gulf of Tonkin incident and you will see the truth. Secondly I'm not condemning the soldiers or the citizens of America for the war, but your govt is to blame for such atrocities. It saddens me to see such blind patriotism about a war that should very much shame what your country stands for. When you blindly believe whatever your country does is righteous, is downright stupid.

  • @spitfirez89 well said, I think too many are blindly patriotic to their respective countries and do not see the dark side on purpose.

  • @18tangles indeed, modern day society has shut out common sense for patriotism or some alliance to petty ideologies.

  • @spitfirez89 thats correct and it is the west who have the problem

  • @18tangles its not only the west, but extremists from all over, such as the middle east religious fundamentalists and fanatic communist north Korea. Oppression and exploitation is not only from the west. Its up to us to wake up and expose these crooks for their actions.

  • @spitfirez89 well let us cure the worlds problems1.Afghanistan fight it the roman way.2. Islamic extremism while we the west allow the islamic councils free reign in the respective countries we allow the extremists to flourish eg. the new mosque that they want to build only a block away from the towers site,Allowing the muslims to spill out onto the roads holding up traffic they are thumbing their arses at us.Here in OZ refugees died at sea off Xmas island buried in sydney 4000 km away stupid us

  • @smellmyclock entered the war ... i hate tht term , makes it sound like going into a kmart or wateva

  • @Tha1DevilDogg fine we declared war

  • @smellmyclock mate you do know there was no attack on any shipping in the Gulf of Tonkin? It was a ploy to get the President to commit more troops. You americans believe too much what your politicians tell you. Did you really believe Clinton AND HIS i NEVER HAD SEX WITH THAT GIRL"HA and did you really believe Bush and the weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.YES our dumb citizens did but our media is not afraid to point out the lies of out govt. And our govt nearly lost the next election.

  • @18tangles dude, fuck, do u read h
