@illuzionatrix I would say these guys are post-hardcore or rock, definitely not metal dude. At least not in the ears of someone who knows actual metal instead of what the media tries to tell me is metal.
@SavageNerds, Just stop man. Metallica (Or it's true fans) does not care what you think of them or thier new music. An album is like a painting, reflecting the artist as they progress through life, and if they all looked the same, then the artist would not be any good, and ppl like you would never even know them. Besides all that, who are you to define what 'metal' is, anyways? Or any of us for that matter. Metal is an attitude, there's no such thing as a "genre", in the true sense of the word..

You know the old saying "Don't judge a book by its cover?" When I found this album an AOL music, I had a sense it was going to be metal, and I guessed correctly. This band has raw talent.

Metalcore = As I Lay Dying, Beneath the Sky, Unearth, Haste the Day, Seasons After, August Burns Red, Bless The Fallen, etc...
Metal and Metalcore sound completely different. Metalcore does exist. It is a cross between Metal and Hardcore... Metalcore is real
