@KajunKopenhagenKing What film is he in where he is a KKK Deputy? Also, here are some more roles to add to his resume: an exterminator in Stephen King's THE GRAVEYARD SHIFT, a helpful doctor in THE WIZARD OF GORE and a gas station attendant in URBAN LEGEND. He is an amazing actor.
The part where he interjects “is this true?” while describing how his spirit had been placed into Karas’ body was a superb flourish. It was a small thing, but added so much believability to what he was doing.
What is scary. That man that shot the congress women.and killed the 9 year old girl. Will have to meet the gemini killer friends. An his pain will never end.Unless he repents.

I was re watching this earlier and i came to realise that when brad dourif says the whole part about ripping his friends again and again that little segment was used at the start of children of bodom's song taste of my scythe
the movie is not that good, but man, this guy save it. I like his acting and voice since Child's Play 1. Did you remember him when he appeared in the tv series Millenium?
This part of the movie is why I truly enjoyed watching it numerous times. Being older and more able to analyze, I truly see the brilliance behind this plot.
I love how they slowed his performance down throughout most of the scene, especially during his outburst. Great actor, Brad Dourif. Needs more appreciation.
This gets alot of criticism for not keeping up with the level of creepiness of the original even though Blatty wrote and directed it. I can't understand why. It isn't as scary as the Exorcist, but Legion had a genuine level of creepiness. Mostly becauser of these remarkable monolouge's by Brad and the final scene. I've been searching for the novel. Friendkin's movie was really accurate with the story. I heard it stopped being published. I hope not! I love the first book!
Brad Dourif is good. Whatever film he does he puts his best performace into it. Even if it's a movie like the first Unrban legend movie in 1998 when he just worked at that gas station, you could see he put in alot of effort to play that character to the max.
George C. Scott is NOT over-acting...he is the perfect foil to Dourif's (brilliant) Gemini...this entire movie is a masterpiece...It is the ONLY Exorcist sequel that matters...PERIOD
Brad Dourif, like Tom Noonan, long ago resigned himself as graciously as possible to doing this kind of role for the rest of his career and damn, he sure perfected the craft.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: this is the ONLY movie that has made me scream out loud while watching it in a theater. Both times that I saw it.
lol yeah unfortunately it wasn't one of his best performances. I cringe at how overdramatic he was during that bit where he's pinned to the wall yelling "WHHHHHYYY GOD-AH!!
I watched this movie when i was 8 years old because of my smart uncle lol, well because of that scissors scene, until i was maybe 16 even 17, i was always looking behind me when i was walking into a long hallway!! by the way I LOVE THIS MOVIE!! such great actors and story!!
