can you advise me with something...im looking into starting metal detecting...what is a good and cheap metal detector for a starter...i collect coins and id be looking for help.

Hey I am a noob too but from what I heard a garrett ace 250 is a really good beginners metal detector. I have one myself and I live in Southern California(central coast) and I always go to the beach. Its soo good I have found lotsa change and jewelry at the beach ;)

Yea the Ace 250 is a great machine!!! I have found tons of great stuff with mine, including 2 gold rings and 1 gold earring.
