Breast Cancer : What Does a Breast Cancer Lump Feel Like?

10 to 15 percent of Breast Cancers are SOFT lobular ILC, (in the milk lobes). They feel more like a THICKENING and as they don't form calcifications like in the milk ducts, they mostly don't show on mammograms. My ILC didn't show on a mammogram, ultrasound or CT scan even though it was large and had spread to the the lymph nodes. A biopsy was needed to diagnose it and an MRI showed it clearly. Please have anything suspicious checked.

Yeah, technically men can get it, too (sadly this fact isn't really discussed much.) You don't have to get a mammogram, there are no techniques for detecting BC; just call a doctor and don't be afraid to tell your parents about it.

It could also potentially be a tumor.

@cavelier23 i had that too and it went away... usually its just your lymph nodes fighting sickness from your amune system.. the whole right side of my face/neck was huge and it died down in a few days
