@Superwombat6 sorry, typing on my iPod and accidentally hit 'go'. Anyway, you can do the trick where you get burned by lava but exit level just as you're about to die. When you go into Dino Mines, go into the underwater minigame then exit, and you'll be swimming in air. :3 hope that makes this area a bit easier to find for some people.

It may be specific to the type of Spyro you're playing or you are missing something really small to do.

This copy of Spyro was a 1st edition disc.

Not "Platinum" or "Greatest Hits" so maybe that has something to do with it?

yea the secret level is only for the japanese spyro 3 game. i have it cause i bot it on ebay! the portel is a mini boss. his name is crysleas (translated). its a giant purple dino with a rifel. hes pretty easy though.... =C

i swear that its a boss and im telling the truth. if you dont beleive me type in japanese spyro 3 glitches. its last on page 4-5.

I did the swim in air a more complicated way, where you pause when you get hit after Sparx is dead. Then you exit the level, then head for the water place in Dino Mines with the portal, go in it then come back out your swimming. You can't pause the game anymore after you do that till you die.

But yeah I tryed that glitch, IT'S COOL!
