@dancerdonald1 i know your comment it a year old but The great skate place with on Erin mills park way and Southfield rd which was North west of Scooters and it closed down in in early 80's and turned into a club ..then back to a roller rink called Rollerworks which was LOUD ! and always packed with 400 to 500 people back in the 90's I worked there and ya i still got skates lol
@freakyflow :Ahhh..the memories of The Great Skate Place/Rollerworks...If I recall..there is an adult night-Tuesdays where they play 80's-90's R & B/Disco/Funk tunes.Was a 'Terrace' (Mutual & Dundas/Jarvis area) Rink guard...the place closed in the early 90's..Rollerskating to music will always be at my heart & soul ..Sad to hear that Don 'Soul Train' Cornelius passed away this week..many hours of watching that show & American Bandstand with Dick Clark..55yrs young and still skating!
