The way it worked fro me is i open the software first. I have widows so it was the (widows.bat). The screen appears asking waiting for the device. So while the phone is off hit (DOWN-END-POWER) Once the Huawei (while the is connected to your pc) Stays white you will see the black screen on the pc running. If you see a lot of OKAY then it worked if you see FAILED you have to try it again.

@Claudinejaz2 I would think it's the PC that needs to be tweaked.Sometime there will be conflicts between the device and phone.I tried this method with my p3 laptop and it worked.funny thing about the apps that they may work with some and not other pcs.just try another pc and see how it works.good luck pal
