  • well she has one kid...so she must have got knocked up while watching chimps

  • I like Goodall. But I can also easily understand Diane Fossey's criticism of her. And her feeling of living "In the Shadow of In The Shadow of Man".

  • how to download

  • I bet we've already reached the crossroads that she is speaking of.

  • ok, but how do you explain when a chimp goes ballistic and tears it's owners face off?

  • @cj382 Insanity due to unnatural captivity - imagine what goes on in prisons, with humans. It's not hard to understand at all actually.

  • Comment removed

  • @cj382 Because a chimp is a "wild" animal. And as intelligent as they are, they shouldn't have an "owner". We keep them because of their intelligence, but we condemn for acting as they would in nature. You can't have the best of both worlds. They are still wild animals and should be respected as such. When they aren't...that's when we get comments or ideas like this. You cannot blame an animal for acting how it would naturally.

  • why do you let him do this to people? What do you have to gain?

  • she's my mother

  • She is simply an amazing and great Lady!

  • nice

  • My acrimonious nature? There's no apostrophe in "its" in its possessive form. Somewhere there's a bone to pick that's yet to be chosen. All bones are invested as structural integrals. I'm of the mind that this is the essence to which banal truth must follow.

  • Gilf

  • Cancer is a disease, a chronic metabolic disease akin to other chronic metabolic diseases such as scurvy, night blindness, pellagra & pernicious anemia. No such disease has ever been cured through mechanical manipulation of the body. Where cancer is seated isn't relevant to its cure. The preventative, cure & treatment of this vitamin-deficiency disease is Amygdalin (vitamin B17). People who get at least 100 m.g. of B17 daily cannot contract cancer.

  • The only beef I have with Goodall is she sold out to the bigfoot crowd by stating she believed bigfoot exists. As a scientist she should know that science is about facts and proof -neither which exit in the case of bigfoot. On bigfoot she is as misguided as any person who believes the tripe that Meldrum and Biscardi shovels out.

  • There seems to be a lot of people hating Jane Goodall out there, and thinking she's a eugenicist. What's contradictory is that some of these opponents declare she herself shouldn't exist. But how eugenist is that ?

  • She represents humility, integrity, simplicity, and gentleness. This is the only way that makes sense.

  • Uncertainty is a failing. You can't spend your life being wishy-washy. Stand for something. Revising the biographies of historical figures is a tricky biz. An author needs a publicly-schooled, not educated (as the words schooled and educated, in the context of publicly-funded institutions, are not synonyms) audience for the sham to succeed. The public library system puts an author on the best-sellers' list, a self-congratulatory public follows.

  • Gorillas do not speak sign languages really. It's the interpreter that somehow tries to make sense of almost random stuff. It's clear from the complete "transcriptions" of the dialogues, the gorila will say something very nonsensical and the person will just assume that it makes sense and add sense to it. Something similar occurs with autistic communication. Chimps, however, do have the Broca's area, there are still interesting possibilities for their communication capabilities (and gorilla's).

  • Jane Goodall lays the problems of the world's poor at the feet of the world's poor. If only they could breed judiciously? Poverty, in reality, is the result of central banking as practiced by the West & the World Monetary Fund and the insistence, by these organizations, that Mankind engage in continual strife (warfare).

  • @ElHombreConDosOjos Break this down so a retard could understand it please.

  • wow. awesome woman.

  • F.E.M.A. will keep us safe in one of their nifty, state-of-the-art encampments. They have canned pudding in chocolate, vanilla & banana.

  • Jane Goodall has more piggish, than apish, qualities. She enjoys mud-baths, burrowing in muck, wallowing in goo and bathing infrequently.

  • Thankfully for Mankind: Jane Goodall's life

and monkeyshines are coming to an end.

If she were granted her wish, 90% of us

    would be exterminated.

  • Herr Hitler supported Western eugenics (the false science that determines who is qualified to procreate). Jane Goodall supports Western eugenics, as did Oliver Wendell Holmes (Chief Justice of the United States), Charles Darwin, Aldous Huxley; as does Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Obama; as did Herbert George Wells (author of "The Time Machine" & "War of the Worlds"), Margaret Sanger (founder of Planned Parenthood), Jacques Cousteau, etc.

  • Plain Jane Goodall, Jacques Cousteau, Prince Phillip, Ted Turner, Obama, Julian & Aldous Huxley, Bertand Russell, Margaret Sanger, Adolf Hitler, Herbert Geo. Wells, Paul Ehrlich {of "The Population Bomb"/"End of Affluence" infamy}, Oliver Wendell Holmes & Pol Pot are unapologetic eugenicists. They preach "bio-ethics"; "animal rights" & "sustainability" which ALWAYS subjects the impoverished people of the Earth to forced sterilizations/abortions, vaccinations & "euthanasia."

  • Aldous Huxley was such a tease. He knew damn well who the elitists were as he swung in their circles and pandered to them. "Over-population" is the eugenicists' mantra. Note how he brings it up, how the poor can't be trusted, how the fecundity of the poor must be addressed by central planners, i.e. the intellectually-superior elitists, the likes of Darwin, Wells & his brother-retardate Julian. Indeed, Huxley prided himself as divine. Good riddance to this fruitcake.

  • Correction: BERTRAND Russell

  • @ThingsTerrestrial 90% would be a good start. Humans are dumb.

  • @Vamp1963 : Lead by example.

  • @ThingsTerrestrial Yep i'm part of it too.

Keep watching TV and tell me humanity is not a pest.

  • @Vamp1963 : Make year 2010 yours for FINAL EXIT.

  • @Vamp1963 Thing is, contrary to you i'm not hypnotized by CNN.

You talking about cancer makes me laugh :-) Stop using cut and paste on others texts and be original. While we're on this subject let me wish that you contract an aggressive pancreatic cancer so we'll have one less asshat to deal with on earth!

  • @ThingsTerrestrial

How can you say such a retarded thing. So you think its good for mankind to grow and grow. In that proces destroying our enviroment and earth.

You view of what's good for the earth is only limited to your personal live.

If you want it or not. You owe your live to biodiversity and so do the people that will be born thousands of years from now.

Human development and progress is something different and uncontrolled growth.

  • @plantsman01 : What makes your life valuable? Should you not end it?

  • @ThingsTerrestrial

Any live is valuable. Only a retard would advise ending lives. The solution lies on not MAKING so many new ones.

Is my live valuable? Don't now. Just last month I more than doubled the entire world population of a critically endangered plant species. that's my job. Does that make me more valuable than, let's say a dentist? I would not think so. But for that plant species I made the difference.

  • Comment removed

  • @plantsman01: Any life, all life, is valuable? Why is there an effort to destroy disease-causing pathogens then?

  • @ThingsTerrestrial

Yes any life. And an effort is something different than a reason.

  • @plantsman01 : Are you promoting scabies, round & pin worms, ticks, chiggers, fleas, bed bugs & malignant growths too?

  • @ThingsTerrestrial Thankfully for mankind you're going to die one day.

  • @Mkamalid : Where's your gay-pride now?

  • I learn from my chimp

  • The problem is elitism. Citizens have

no meaningful power for civil redress.

  • Atheism {sans quotes} is an impossible

state for Humans, as it's the tragedy of

    snails, adders & gibbons.

  • Dr. Goodall you are my hero!!

  • Your words make my heart sing

  • why do ppl hate her?

  • Because she's a eugenicist.

  • Are you confusing ethologist with eugenicist?? I have trouble believing a woman who is adamantly against war, genocide, and the holocaust could be accused of that. She cohesively gives good reasons for ALL humans- who exist NOW to find their shared humanity. Nowhere, from anything I've read or heard from her could I have come to the conclusion that she supports selective breeding practices! That mindset opens the door to genocide- something Dr. Goodall is well aware of and she warns us of it.

  • You demean the intelligence that you credit her with having. She's a spokesman for the United Nations and their mouthpiece for Z.P.G./Zero Population Growth {that's coda for eugenics a la Margaret Sanger}.

  • Ok, thanks for enlightening me:) I guess I'm as dumb as poor Jane Goodall. Thanks for the compliment;)

    Have a good one!

  • ROUGH-&-TUMBLE JANE GOODALL...She should

be cremated. It doesn't matter as to when.

  • With star emissaries the likes of Jane Goodall, Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie, the U.N. is practicing eugenics through inoculations. They infect mothers with A.I.D.S., hepatitis, pertussis & bubonic plague. They routinely administer abortifacients {agents to induce miscarriages} to pregnant women through serums.

  • Of course Global warming exists. It's a natural way of life, however our species brings it faster, due to our stupidity.

  • Nature's first lady:)

  • I think that she is such an insirational woman to have followed her dream from such an early age. All her speeches show the same thing-she has not yet given up on humanity.

  • Once society buys into the "atheistic" notion that the individual man must be sacrificed for the good of the many; and that unhatched eagles are more worthy of protection than unborn humans, then the Utopian dream of the supreme, all-knowing, all-caring secular collectivists' state will come to pass.

  • Good people must aid the conspirators to establish a consensus to destroy Equatorial Africans. We need to pick someone more deserving of our worship than the messianic Goodall.

  • chimps rock and jane goodall rocks love her and i am doing a report on her

  • PS WATCH MY fob vIDEO REMIx - FEATURING HOW USING CHIMPS IS WRONG TO THEIR MUSIC VIDEO!!!

    pLEEASE

    x ITS FANNNTASTIC!

  • no... Jubilee is from her dad...

  • crazy

  • Comment removed

  • that chimp stuffed-animal she has is named Jubilee, her dad gave it 2 her

  • no she didnt u idiot her blind friend gave it to her

  • Jane Goodall is my hero!

  • i just saw her in a talk at my schoole earlier this week, she was holding the same chimp in her hand!

  • I met her at Wesconn University, it she gave a lecture on Water Conservation.

  • Jane, please be my wife? Just kidding, you are a lovely person; the earth needs more like you.

  • she is a very great person

  • she's a pieces :)

  • i get sleepy when i hear her voice...its so calming.

  • To anyone who would worship this planet: Population control starts at your house. You've lived long enough. Your life must serve as the example by which other like-minded "Goodalls" will find solace. Your family's suicide must serve the greater good by providing breathing space for the "natural beauty" that you & yours have caused to be scraped from the Earth.

  • jane goodal is SUCH an insperation :D i know wat im gonna do 4 collage xD

  • No offense, but take a spelling course too!

"Jane Goodall is SUCH an inspiration. I know what I'm going to do in college." Is a MUCH better way to say that sentence.

  • Aw come on that's not what's important here! =(

  • she is the most amazing peson .she lived waith chimps for 24 years!!!!!!i went to see her live at the jubealie autatorium ! it was the best!like YTgloom said beatutiful person beautiful mind

  • Jane goodall believes in bigfoot

  • Her credibility just diminished.

  • how

  • she believes in Bigfoot...

  • And how does that make her lose credibility? If you know that the world's leading primate expert believes in it, then there's no reasonable excuse to doubt the animal's existence anymore.

  • Well, has anyone been able to prove bigfoot doesn't exist? and how could that be proved anyway? think of giant squids 20 meters (60 foot) long, the stuff of legends in the not so distant past, now their existence is proven. Think of the wild cat of Iriomote island, east of Taiwan, that most resident have never even seen... yet their existence is also proven, mainly because a few are found dead on the road. Bigfoot might be too smart to end up caught or a casualty of the road...

  • And this is the question. So what do we do bring animals from other countries to ours and lock them in cages to save them? Our own species are under tremendous pressure from our activities here. Did you know that only 1% of the North American grizzly bear still remains? This is a global issue, and it's not just about them (animals)it is about us, and what kind of world we want to have in the future.

  • Too familiar with monkeys? Maybe you should take a look at the manipulations of animals including chimps in lab experimentation. People mindlessly screwing around with genetic and disease manipulations, which is far more dangerous. We torture living creatures for our own sick curiosity, now that is too close to monkeys. Don't you worry we will have eradicated chimps and other great apes soon, so no one will be able to see these magnificent creatures, except those in our labs of course.

  • what is she trying to tell?

  • beautiful person, beautiful thoughts.

  • Thx for this vid very very helpful!!!! I have 2 do a report on her for a school project! :):) I wanted to do J.K. Rowling but..... my teacher said i already know 2 much about her oh well!! :)

  • she is soooooooo helpfull.

im doing her for a project

  • This woman is my role model im doing a project o n her

  • i want to be just like this woman. every day she makes a difference this is true, i am only 13 but know what i want, and she is my role model. we use this site to post weird videos and things, thats all good fun, but maybe we could be using this for positive effects on the world, we could change the world with this... all you have to do is think. sit on that for a moment, if you have any comments, feel free to post on this one. :)

  • Richard, don;t say stuff like that, she is an amazing person!

  • I am glad I have seen you in action. I love animals our planet would have no meaning without them. Can you imagine what life would be like. Good luck with all you do, I have great admiration for you.

  • respect this lady!!! ... spent 30 yrs of her life wid chimps

  • amazing woman

    :-)

    very intelligent she is...

  • I had the absolute pleasure of meeting and speaking with Ms Goodall in Korea last week. Remarkable being.

  • I also am doing a research paper on her @ school she is a wonderful woman who is beautiful on the outside, but on the inside to. the animals need saving and we are they're only hope. God bless Jane Goodall 4 ever it's all the STUPID SUV DRIVING, DIMWITTED, BIRD BRAINS WHO ARE KILLING OUR PLANET!!!!!!!!!! Sorry i'm a little crankey 2day! :-)

  • Bird Brain?! Who told you a bird's brain is dimwitted?

  • this is so helpful! I am doing a research paper on her in school, and I need to talk like her!

"The least I can do is speak for those who cannot speak for themselves"~Jane Goodall

  • we can save the animals.

  • I think she is a lovely, logical, educated lady, who also has beneficence, hope and a plan for the future. Far better than one of you with derisive comments have proposed. Instead of condemning her for being a primatologist, what would you propose to help save the only planet we have?

  • sorry but the earth isn't in trouble, the earth has survived long before us, its we (the people) that are in trouble. The first way to save us, is realize that animals won't save anything as far as pollution and global warming. Secondly animals don't need our help they have lived fine without us, actually it is us that have killed off many species of animals. and Third and final reason, every nation that can do something about it hates the other. Until we can get along nothing will happen.

  • Secondly animals don't need our help they have lived fine without us, actually it is us that have killed off many species of animals.

They do need our help: By us not destroying their habitats. The deforestation without regard to other species is selfish. We have the technology to compromise.

  • She is amazing!

  • Thank you for this great video! It is so moving how Jane Goodall speaks about the future and her program. It is amazing that she can be so strong -always looking forward- after all she has seen!

  • Shes Amazig ;*)

  • I saw her speak today at Chautauqua - though she is a primatologist, her work goes far beyond that sphere. She's my hero!

  • hahah!! she sure as hell influenced me...nd as well as countless others!

  • i liek the way u think!

  • I don't think you're right, because she's trying to open our minds and teach us how to look at world from other than anthropocentric point of view.I read her book about shimpanzees and it has changed my way of thinking about humanity, our origins, the way we behave.Ants got a social structure but it's based on instinct, they can't produce tools, they can't use sign language, they can't display emotions in a humanlike manner. She's a person that possesed important knowledge and just want to share it.

  • What you fail to mention is the fact the general human ignorance to wildlife has shunned it into deforestation. She went to gombe and was one of the pioneers who publicized how chimps make and used tools. We thought we were so high up there away from the animal kingdom, that's so ignorant. So that is a very big thing. She has done alot along with others we may never no the name of. Roots and shoots forever!

  • In an age where the world and nature are being torn apart so people can mis-use its resources, the work of Jane Goodall is a wonderful influence on the way people understand their world. Thank you Dr Goodall for all your priceless work, and your dedication to pointing out why it is people need to learn more about the damage they do to our planet.

  • i am quite impresses by your production skills

  • Is failing to load for anyone else? :(

  • Yes! :( :(

  • Jane Goodall is the most awesome woman on the planet! She does so much!

  • I agree. She is one of my heroes.

  • I'm not trolling and Jane Goodall isn't dead. I'm guessing that this rumor must be based on the "mauled to death by monkeys" hoax started on Wikipedia last month. Check the Jane Goodall Institute web site (or her others mentioned in my earlier post) or any credible news source, and put yourselves at ease.

  • R.I.P.??? As far as I can tell, from today's news and from Jane Goodall's web sites Roots & Shoots and Lessons for Hope, Dr. Goodall is alive and well and as busy as ever!

  • WHY Don't we ever see this on the prime time news? 5 STARs every time I see this! Happy Holiday toyou and yours for posting this!

  • how can i download this video????

  • Thank You.

  • god bless jane goodall. If everyone were like her and had her mindset, the world would be at peace.

  • that woman has done more for human understanding of chimpanzee than any other

  • Amazing Jane Goodall! Thank You for sharing nerogers!
