Well when black star first came in at the end of ep1 I was thinking to myself "this kids a badass taking on Alphonse freaking Capone right off the bat!" Then he yelled his name and jumped right into the middle of everything and I ended up with a red palm mark on my face. But thats completely irrelevant. My point is yes hes so annoying it hurts, and he should be grateful to Subaki for her patience. Buuut his annoyingness is undoubtedly his greatest charm. Basically he grows on you. FAST

I don't get why people say that Black Star is like Naruto. The only similarities are that they are both spiky haired and ninja. Naruto's not even loud anymore. Naruto hasn't been a loudmouth in ages. All he ever does lately is brood over Sasuke. Naruto is similar to Black Star? Black Star with the largest ego ever? Black Star who shows off for the purpose of showing off? You know how I know that Black Star and Naruto are different? Black Star would never let Sasuke get more screen time than him.

@habitofsky The anime starts to differ from the manga after Maka uses the Genie Hunter for the first time. There are plenty of differences. I cant post all but heres the stuff about Black Star. At some point when Crona decides to leave DWMA some characters also leave to deal with stuff. Black Star and Tsubaki go to Japan to train with Tsubakis family so they can master Masamune and Shadow Star. When they come back DWMA is attacking Arachnaphobia and they fight Mifune for the last time.

Black Star rocks. He's the best student meister in Shibusen and in my opinion Tsubaki is definitely the best weapon. She's the only one who is about 8 different weapons in one. That plus the fact that Black Star can kick ass even without Tsubaki is awesome. Black Star is a badass and the best part is that he knows it. That's what makes him my favorite character. He says he's going to surpass god and in a way he already did. Kid is the son of the Death God and Black Star is stronger than him.
