  • not bad, you came across as just arrogant/aggressive at the start, but more evil/destructive as the monologue went on.

  • Brilliant!

  • I liked it a lot. I thought you built the tension in the right place, and I thought that you paced your words well.

  • Your killing the verse, man.

  • I don't feel it, man. I don't feel depth.

  • Good job! They did a great job on dressing him up like the evil moor ... hideous make-up, chills one to the bone I must say!

  • good job.

  • hey dickhead ever read Jew of Malta ...read the speech of the Jew s speech before his death...coincidence or....p.s. You suck, you plagiaristic showboat!!!!

  • relax, nigger, you're not reciting from the actual play-many lines in the play are not there-BUT EVERY LINE from your verbal diaarhea ARE THE SAME LINE IN THE tAYMLOR FILM VERSION which I adorn. What did you think people or at least a few who type in "wshakespeare" was going to be impressed???????????

  • i now have the strangest desire to make out with him...huh.

take notes, boys: passion is sexy.

  • not bad but the lines should speak for themselves, it makes it more unsettling than watching someone put too much emotion in just a suggestion...

  • @tessc007 I think it all depends. Not every unsettling speech has to be just spoken like it was nothing. Sometimes, depending on the actor, the production, the theatre, even the night, whatever is true for the actor is what is performed. I thought he found a lot of passion, and he found it by getting loud. I was intrigued. I know it was just a suggestion...I`m not dumping on you.

  • pretty damn good

  • This is weak sauce. You're supposed to be a badass motherfucker... so hardcore his in evil that he laughs at death and wishes only for the opportunity to wreak more havoc. To be fair... Aaron is hard to capture, not even in Titus (1999) did Harry Lennix capture this vital monologue. I feel he did well with Aaron - or rather did his best... he managed to capture the spirit of the man... but the delivery, and especially the delivery of this C.R.U.C.I.A.L. passage was in my opinion lacking.

  • good job

  • I really liked it. Good Job.

  • bravo.

  • No,Thank you. That was excellent!

  • Very well done!

  • dude I'm sorry but you're too gay to be playing aaron.literally and figuratively, you're just too gay to pull it off.i'm sure you're a great actor, but some things you just can't fake.i don't care what certain "critics" say about TITUS ANDRONICUS,it is one of Shakespeare's greatest plays.but it hinges on the eternally male spirit of aaron the moor. if you're going to play aaron please limit your performance to audiences that are threatened by black male potency on stage.....oh i get it now.

  • A person cannot be figuratively gay. One is or isn't gay--there's no abstract interpretation of homosexuality.

  • @annasoalive yeah aint you clever,no buddy, you can indeed be "figuratively gay".Craig,in addition to being rather lispy and probably limpy(I could only see his face), he was way too bashful to be a believable Aaron.Watching that silly monologue one gets the feeling he's about to burst into a fit of giggling, hence figuratively too gay.See one can be a self-possessed homo or a giddy/gay homo.

  • americans shouldn't do shakespeare

  • @checkmategameover I hate to admit it but I think you're right.we need to stick with what we know. The garbage that comes out of hollywood. everyone's brilliant out there.these cultural gatekeepers

  • @checkmategameover Scholars will tell you again and again that American English is more like the English of Shakespeare than modern British English is. Certain words, phrases, etc. are only found in AE. Ask the staff at the RSC - very interesting.

  • Wow. Very impressive. It'd be great to see you in a full on production.

  • @jackcharlatan he was horible,either you're retarded or.....wait a minute "jackCHARLATAN".

  • Bravo,

This is one of my favorites from the bard. Titus Andronicus is one of Shakespeare's earlier works, and some have named it the slasher play. You can see how language and the syntax can make the meaning even more dramatic.

  • Great!

  • nice bro nice! love the swagger!

  • @eddywardo20 you mean you love the swish!

  • Wow.

  • brilliant!!!

  • Very good

  • you have a very nice voice ^^

    good job (:

  • nice one... even though...

just don´t push yourself into something.

it was like "hello, my name is... pah, babamm fuck you i´m aaron"

like jomney told. it is more effective, when you understate it.

and pleas be honest... i think you copied it, from the one who didit in the movie with hopkins. cus you´ve got the same ryhthm.

  • Great Stuff

  • he doesnt have to yell. he has already won the battle, he is just showing them, "you can "shoot" me, but you can't kill me"

also, if you start at a 10, you will have no where to go.

nice intensity, i used this monologue to get me into Tisch, NCSA, DePaul etc and when you understate it, it is more effective.

  • suck it

  • DANG, DIS IS GOOD

  • Bravo!

  • I'm proud of you Craig. Your getting out there and getting heard. Hopefully we will all get our chance. Congratulations. May the world kneel at your feet.

    Forever your friend,

    Brittany Johnson
