if i remember this theme played during a complete badass start of a fleet to fleet combat.

Not shure where you got that idea. Amuro explicitly says Newtypes cannot see the future right before the battle of Battle of A Baoa Qu.

Newtypes can see peoples hostilities and hatetred before they fire their weapons. Thats how they can predict where attacks will be. They can also read peoples fealings and imprint their wills onto other people.

But "Some things are imposible, even for Newtypes" Including seeing the future.

This is one of the best alternate renditions of the Empire Strikes Back theme. Its much more recognizeable than other copycats around. Anyway this soundtrack is one of the best around and should be a "must have" for any soundtrack collector! I have all the CDs.. including the Original Soundtrack, Symphonic Poem and Live Concert.

By the way the composer is Satoshi Kadokura... His other known works are Land of the Dead and Windaria.

@ndalum75 I think it's Japan's fight back since Star Wars is taken inspiration from one of their films by Akira Kurasawa, even Storm Troopers and Darth Vader's helmet are based off from Samurai helmet/mask, Jedi's robe are based off from Samurai's robe, etc. etc. ^_^
