it is an underrated movie for sure. It makes me shudder what would happen if another civil war broke out in this country. A time when the devil would rule the roost
beautiful song. I watched it being performed at the Oscars on TV a few years ago. can't believe it didn't win best song... that was the year Return of the King got errrrverything.

I just love her voice! This song never fails to make me cry with my boyfriend being deployed and all... Semper Fidelis, Jason! And thank you to everyone protecting freedom.
@asgorotht your ss let you believe that freedom meant you could treat your neighbor like shit, (neighbor meaning jews) and we. the americans being the other neighbor came in and bitch slapped you back into your position in this life.
@zackwinsett fair enough your reply was to was a goon, but honestly... I get the whole 'american pride' and all that, and I have that for germany, but the whole jews thing... everyone knew what was going on. the British, the french. EVERYONE but at the time everyone hated the jews.. its not a lie, its fact. not all agreed, many man people thought it was horrible and wrong (so it was) but this also included lots of germans who strongly disagreed with the idea of discriminating against the jews
@NoddingChicken and how am i a "twat" i dont have a vag and i did not say anything that was not true so... in which case you could be considered the twat for calling mee a twat lol
@zackwinsett "the americans being the other neighbor came in and bitch slapped you back into your position in this life" your position in this life? thats why your a twat. anyone who can insult anyone else on youetube and think their pathetic opinion actually means something.. is clearly a sad, sad human being. you are so typical of a right wing person and also an american.
'i don't have a vag' - WELL DONE! figuring this out must have been hard.. not trying to insult you totally... but dude. wtf
@NoddingChicken it wasn't an insult, it was a fact. You are just misunderstanding my choice of words, I am proud of my country for all the things its accomplished, while yet ashamed more things in this country for what it has become and how we got to be the largest economical power in the world. i do not like how we used lies and deceit to get there. while owing large debts at the same time.
to be honest though i dont even know what the message i replied 2 first said, to make you say that
@asgorotht No you weren't. You're most likely a dimwitted teenager who never set a foot outside his little rural inbred village of total retards. WW2 is nothing but ancient history to you, and if you ever ended up in an other war, you'd be cowering and squealing in a corner and wetting yourself.
@MLFive lol i can feel the hate, i think you had a fucked up childhood. But oke i forgive you. Im not going too change my point now, i still think the german army in WW2 was a very good army with a very good moral.
The death toll in the Civil War was close to 700,000 men. More than all wars before or since ,combined. Yes, the scarlet tide was blood/death. It left a lot of women without husbands and children without fathers.
@tpajason a quick google tells me there was 8 thousandish that died at the battle of Gettysburg not including wounded who I am sure probably would have died at that time. Now in total about 24 million soldiers died in ww2 not including wounded and around 49 million civilain casualties. So i dont know how correct that is. Could be seeing as most casualties happened in russia.
@SandyMckinnon You're right. I'm referring to their conquest of Belgium, Poland, and France - "Fortress Europe". The Blitzkreig worked. Russia and the invasion of Normandy really upped the numbers shortly after. hah. Good research, though =)
@goldenslipper508 there was a scene when u mother was geting raped in this movie and ur sister was pissing in her panty.than this song was played . hvnt u seen tht scene ?lol

All wars or just american losses? If the first then you are very wrong :P
SandyMckinnon 1 year ago
@SandyMckinnon, American losses. The single battle of Gettysburg tallied up more casualities than the Nazis sustained conquering the whole of Europe.

@Bevoe A good example of this is Antietam, the bloodiest day in American history, 23,000 casualties.
Or more than any war that we had previously been in, combined.
