It's very unfortunate that, from the point the Earth appears to go into retrograde motion (by virtue of the 'camera' suddenly changing from fixed to co-moving), the direction of the Earth's axis appears to change. I think the single most important point to get across is that our rotation axis essentially does not change its direction in space as we move around the sun. Anything that does not elucidate this is plain confusing (even though it might appear elegant to those already 'in the know').
This Video only shows you about 1/4 of the earth's actual rotation around the sun... Its not that simple... The earth does not travel in a circular motion around the Sun, in fact it travels in different loop shapes every year.
There is more evidence proving accounts of the Bible in all fields of science than evidence supporting evolution. There is substantial scientific evidence disproving evolution.
Its okay to be angry. I felt the same way too, but after studying the archeological, biological, historical, and even astronomical evidence it would take more faith to believe in evolution than God. Don't let your pride and the devil's veil over science keep you from the truth. God bless.
Yes this video is very deceptive....if the earth maintains a constant tilt as it revolves around the sun, then that does not explain how sometimes the northern hemisphere is tilted forwards whilst the southern is tilted backwards wrt the sun and vice versa at other times. I dont get it!
This video is deceiving because it makes it seem as if the Earth changes its tilt by itself as opposed to having a fixed tilt, but different position around the sun.
@ActiveStorage Sure there's a wobble. But it takes 26,000 years to complete one full cycle of the wobble, and this video makes it look like it takes just one year.
this video gives the idea that the tilt of the earth changes from left to right. But what is the actual tilt of the earth from it's imaginary north/south exist of 23.5 degrees, is it tilted towards the left or to the right? thank you
When the earth reaches the Summer Solstice in June, does it immediately start tilting back the other way or does it stay there for a time first before tilting back toward the opposite way?
Are you Sure? imagine that the orbit around the sun is not horizontal but with a dereference of 11.5 degrees and the result will be the same. So I have a question: Why the rotation is not horizontal? And another one. if the rotation is horizontal like you explain, why the earth tilt moves itself? Is not conclusive.

To make this accurate, wouldn't the earth spin on its axis 365 times?

I have a question for anybody.

@wetweasel56 not immediatly but slowly

@wetweasel56 ha ha haaa...that's what everybody wants to know. Wonder why i hadn't ponder that small error of explanation before

if it moves through the dark rifts the spin may slow the motion while tectonic plates have the same momentum.

@Thegiglinggyrl the stick Thingy is imaginary and doesn't move it always faces the Sam direction get it

Second that, Dr. Jibson. After 0:17 it's confusing. Good effort though, Brad Freese. You are certainly talented.

dude the long stick thingy turns? :O can you help me with that x.x im so confused argh! D:

You should recreate this and have the camera be stationary, and not follow the earth in orbit.
