Haden made some really poor pass choices in this game. He had the back wide open on numerous occasions but ended up throwing into coverage deeper. Also, Tight Ends werent used anything like as much for catching passes back then were they. Even in this weather it's run, run, run.....
I can't believe this game did not make the NFL Network's Top 10 list of "the greatest bad weather games." Can you believe they choose the Tampa Bay-Kansas City game from 1979 in which it rained, but the grass held up! As for this game it will make you say "Where's George Toma when you need him?"

Interesting that 55 minutes into the game Paul Krause has a pretty clean uniform.
I have often heard he shyed from contact, this kind of proves it.

@deeniemarie7 Well they did change uniforms at halftime, but yeah, Krause was more of a pass defense specialist, rather than a big hitter.
