@prestin01 because if you ever read any accounts from the members of the band they say the same thing, thats why they went out and made the documentary Joy Division, because the director of Control, Anton Corbijn was more intersted in sticking to the doom and gloom myth he tried to create with the photos he used to take of them, he eventually shut the other members out and stuck to his own ideaology of the way he wanted to present the image of Ian Curtis.
