hahaha glad to know somebody is putting my sprites to good use. I suppose I intended them for a 2D game but they work out all right the way you used them! Hey if you need any custom sprites for you game I would be glad to make them.
@haljonat hey im making a legend of zelda 2d side scrolling game can u make a good twilight princess sprite sheet? if so i would give you major credit
blah its meh again and i still cant make my sprite run at a pace its been 3 months i know er think "dam this boy is idiotic" but hey i know alot of game maker 7 users are like this so ill point out when he runes at a pace 0:06 - 0:11 no1 in game maker forums in yoyo games will help -.-

sup dude know your game is cancelled but i got a few questions.... how do you make link run like that paste. how do you make the sprite look like that when u jump and when u run left how do you make your character face left.. also how do you attack?
@xpurexsnake lol moron, learn about gamemaker XD those are really basic things you can find out just by searching in the libraries lolz(tip: under main1)
@xpurexsnake Such stupid questions. If you want Link to run, then put some few running sprites together. You have to place the shadow on a good place too make him look like he`s jumping. Make one object for facing right and one object for left. Go to the right facing object, choose: arrow key: left = turn into facing right. Then he will turn into facing left when you press left. Do the same thing for attack. Was that to hard?
That is cool. Can you make one with monsters in it? That would be awsome!

attacking and jumping and facing directions can be done simply through variable checking. Just teach yourself. :D
