@CandieeLoVa23 A 9.45 in execution is a huge score, and a 15.25 is huge for a double yurchenko.... most gymnasts score mid-high 14's.

I get really annoyed at the encouragement from the other gymnasts, like their voices. I'm not sure why...

i love that smile she had when she new she stuck it...she needs more moments like that to help build her confidence. i believe her world medal on beam will also boost her confidence and let her realize she is that good

It was a stuck landing. She landed with her feet apart, but slid them together. It still counts as a stick.

@TwisterFlipp95 - How would that make sense then to be a stick? Stuck landings are where your feet don't move after first touching the mats; if you step, hop, or slide your feet, it counts as a deduction because you moved, and does not count as a stick.

He is not their only coach...in the gym I had four coaches...but only one on the competition floor.

I should hope Valeri is professional and gives equal time to all his athletes. He doesn't seem like a Bela to me-Karolyi according to some of his former gymnasts often paid more attention to the 'star' of the moment. :)
