Actually, I'm Mikayla's grandfather. I WISH I could play the piano like that!

The guest pianist is a member of the music faculty at Arizona State University. He graciously agreed to play with the DVHS Performance Jazz Ensemble for this performance.

Yes, we are very lucky. With so many cuts being made to public education budgets, we are very fortunate that Mikayla is able to participate in a great high school jazz program, with so many talented musicians and an excellent director.
