@Kagamex Late response, but I think a few hardcore artists used to use FL before moving onto Cubase. I remember Angerfist jokingly referenced it in a tweet once, talking about mastering a track or something; "maybe back to FL Studio".
I wonder what Angerfist uses to make his kicks ...
I usually take existing samples, use the WaveShaper to squarise them a tiny bit, then put the Squeeze plugin on to "destroy" it a bit. I often use so many effects I need more than one insert. =P
µTonic looks pretty cool, I might check it out. =)
well, Microtonic (the u means micro ;P) is more for kicks, whereas Nexus is samples but Vanguard you make your own or use samples, so it really depends on what your comfortable with doing ;)
