Bossa Nova is in 2/4 and not 4/4. If someone really wants to learn how to play it, I recommend listening to a Brazilian pianist, like Tom Jobim, Luiz Eça, Cesar Camargo Mariano, Johnny Alf and many others. And please, keep the blues licks for something else.

standart, nothing special, i think a piano-player that is on this level he still did not reach this standat bossa-rhythm, should go to a professional piano-teacher, if he or she wants to become a good player, i mean, youtube cant teach u so well as a musician does in reality, u can learn from these things at youtube if u are more advanced, but hese basic things like this u really should try to learn in reality..
its a good video and teaches the bossa style well, but i would have liked to see the chord progression move from dmin9 to g7/6, just to give some movement
I am so happy to be able to pick up Latin Muntono. I have been wanting to learn Girl from Ipanema. I will try to see if I can do it after your instructions. If not, can you do one on this song? Wow! Thanks. Cannot understand why pple are not grateful.
