my humble opinion: this version is better than the original recording for the film. The tempo is a little faster and the staccato strings is a little "crisper".

I've heard many interpretations from Prague Philharmonic, and they are really a top notch orchestra!

@woyer86 Sorry but it's CAMERON that is the problem NOT Horner! Cameron made pocahontas in space and got a soundtrack to match. If Cameron had done an original story with characters that didn't look like blue hairless cat people, then he probably could have gotten a much better score from Horner. But instead he decided to remake an old Disney film.

This is absolutely beautiful!!!! I always love this orchetsra's arrangements of Zimmer's glory moments. Zimmer has his weaknesses, but this is one of his great classics! The beauty of discovery, the mystery of the many secrets. If only the film lived up to the music. What a disappointment the film turned out to be. I believe Zimmer's work sounds best with a full on orchestra like this, I just preferred the choir in the Da Vinci Code more. This is beautiful!
