that happened to my mp5 when i downloaded a skin/sound. check in the console when you fire it, mine says "missing file [blah blah blah] file probably missing from disk/repository" maybe reinstalling cs:s will work; havent tried it

I fixed it! it was from a skin, it placed a file called modelsounds.cache and i had to un-archive it and delete it

oi dude did u download the battlefield 2 and battlefield 2142 sounds fron the net or did u have the game coz ive got battlefield 2 and im trying to find the sound file but i cant fkn find it?

i have 2142 and the bf2 demo, in the game folders go to mods/bf2142 or bf2 i think (games not installed right now), then sound_client.

no they hear either the default sound or their modded sounds if they modded sounds too.
