@SupersonicJak My brother saw this thing on tv that if you throw a towel on a dogs head, the time it takes for it to get out is a measure of it's intelligence. So he threw a towel on his dogs head and it curled up and went to sleep in the towel lol.

@rtn362 mine use to do exactly the same. Never offer your hand to him so he can playfully chew. If he's biting hard while you are running stop running & tell him NO. Dogs live in the present & need guidance on what's acceptable. Mine grew out of the biting as soon as I taught him NO biting or in the crate he goes, picked up pretty darn quick after that.

OMG! My beagle was named Logan!

He never howled or bayed...but he had an awfully deep bark. He was on the tall side (18 inches) so that may be why. Big man, big bark. He'd been with us for 17 years when he died this past August. I miss you Logie!

When i got my beagle, he was such a tiny thing. He looked like he had a big head compared to his body cuz he had such cute big floppy ears. well he eventually grew into them. hee hee. and when he was little he was affraid of like everything. he was affraid of his new squeaky cheeseburger toy. what a baby. i love him. he is now 7 yrs old now. he is still cute and doesnt look old at all. When my brother got our beagle, the first thing he did was make Bailey chase him around the swimming pool. It was the darnest cutest thing you ever saw, a large man being chased by an animal with floppy ears. Bailey is 8 years old, he lost half of his floppy ear from a coyote bite, it didn't effect him, he is still that goof-ball.
