Very nice video! went out today up in pittsburgh "pine crick" caught 26 overall...nice sized rainbows and brooks for the crick! Cant wait till i go big trout and salmon fishing! Great job on catch and release lol...By the way awesome catches(:

the snow was pretty bad in western new york -thruway was shut down with stranded motorists .

7-10 sure

mike uses 8 1/2 ' i use an 11 both are fine.

you can use shorter but longer rods absorb the shock more fighting the fish and help keep your line off the water for more of a drag free drift

Great video guys It is cool how you show the fish through your glassesto let people see what is going on under the water like that. It is also cool how you show ane tell how you guys lost some fish also. the salmon runs on lake ontario bring in lage numbers of anglers from all over but it thins out when the cold weather sets in.takes a lot of patience-definitely not my favorite place to fish but it was cool ti see hundreds of fish swimming by all day. we made alright to the gas station but i was getting nervous

I've never fished there, but I wouldn't be able to handle the crowds. The Oak is tough enough. Those browns are beautiful, really seem to like that egg bead up from the hook.

i was a little skeptical trying the trout beads but i'm a believer now.

the crowds are tough - its a challenge to land a fish let alone get them to hit with all the fishing pressure
