I live in a small farm guys., I know that some animals if turned upside down, are hypnotised allways. Checkens, rabbits, even sharks happen to become disoriented when turned upside down and lay moveless.
@YiannisThiakos Its true. Its called submitting, they do it because they appear already dead to an extent, so for example a predator bird may not bother swooping up the rabbit, no thrill of the chase, or they wont because it "could" already be another animals kill. :) FTR, I hand reared a wild rabbit for 4 years and that's how I know
They aren't trained to do this. It happens when you lie them back like what she was doing in this video. I think it doesn't something to their spinal cord. Also, their backs/spines are extremely fragile. They probably don't want to be moving around if they are at risk of hurting their backs.
If such power were to come in the wrong hands, the concequences could be dire... An army of bunny rabbits obeying your evry comand !!! It will be the end of the world as we know it.
Not hypnotized or trained, just held in a manner that they don't have the abdominal strength to do a sit up. I puts them in a trance. The same can be done with cats but is much harder, it is playing off a weakness in the animal.
haha aww i do this to my rabbits all the time, except that i actually give them back support so the wont break their lil spines, they have very delicate spines
Before the camera started rolling, she did something to scare the rabbit--rabbits literally become petrified with terror. What you are seeing is a kind of shock--not really very funny.
They do this if you shoot them

it sort of is hypnotized. when a rabbit lies on its back like that it is in a short term paralysis. it is mainly used by rabbits to play dead.

It's a technique that is used to place animals into trance state. People do that on crocodiles in those show where you see in the Zoo.

Those rabbits aren't hypnotized. When they are in that position, they can't do anything.
Don't believe me? If you have a rabbit at home you could try this. Hold them on the back of their head and do this.
