it is amazing how a song and the lyrics can just touch your heart. when i first heard this song it brought me to tears,my mom passed away in 1985 and sometimes it seems just like it was yesterday.she was not only my mother,but my buddy and best freind. i can honestly say, in my 59yrs of life,that was the most traumatic thing that ever happened to me. but i have to consider myself blessed because she went peacefully,in her sleep. r.i.p. my darling mother,phyllis ellis.
