This is Ronnie Milsap's first version of "Please Don't Tell Me How the Story Ends." This was initially included on his self-titled debut (pictured above at the beginning and the end) and wasn't even included on any single. Then it was included on the catalog LP "A Rose by Any Other Name." Meanwhile, the rerecording topped the country charts and won a Grammy. This has been done by many others, but only he can do or sound good here (and he does both)! One of my 10 RM favs; I love both versions!
