Kontiki and The Big Picture are about as good as they get. If you're a fan of Beatley pop, this is as good as it gets! Fantastic! Future Clouds is good but Cotton Mather was great.

Hey Cotton Mather fans: you might wanna check out The Orchid Highway - Rainbow Quartz (Cotton Mather's old label) signed this band as their album was getting rave reviews (and Cotton Mather comparisons) in pop circles.

These guys are great. The movie is so ridiclous, but it really works. It's stupid, but you can take it seriously. I didn't realise how great this band are (were) when I first heard them...

Hey ther, I'm not a Cotton Mather expert, but there are two absolutely amazing records they put out - "Kontiki" and "The Big Picture"; try and find them both if you can. "April's Fool" comes, I believe, from an earlier album/EP, and I don't know which one. They got into record company hell and now their stuff is pretty hard to find but worth it! Good luck!

you´re right, Kontiki and The Big Picture are terrific. This song comes on the band´s debut record, "Cotton Is King" which I think its a 7 out of 10. you can find both Kontiki (probably their best) and The Big Picture every once in a while on ebay at decent prices

the name of that album is "cotton is king" ther is an ep call hotel baltimore, wich has great songs like, altar boy, dream girl and missing the boat. great band.

yeah, i've been listening to the eponymous debut--really really great stuff! like sgt. peppers with more brass and less pot...or something. they don't rip off the beatles TOO badly, though.
