Talent loaded team??Is that why they were so good without him?He was a great leader on the field, and he was the reason they were a playoff team in spite of Wade Philips.
You guys should put up the video where Flutie fumbles away Buffalo's chances at winning their WIld Card game that season. Most overrated QB in history for the little he accomplished at the NFL level.
@HasTheVoice He's a legit CFL legend, I fully agree, prolly the CFL GOAT! but is way too celebrated by Bills fans for the little he accomplished with that talent-loaded team. Very over-hyped NFL stint!
@csquaredremixz The reason Flutie's so celebrated in Buffalo is not because he was statistically a great QB, it's because he won games for a franchise with little success outside of the early 90's. it's cuz when he led that franchise into the playoffs twice, yet was benched in favor of a guy who was by and far less able to lead that team to any championship, let alone win. Doug Flutie Had that. He just never got the chance. that's why he's so hyped. and certainly a better QB than Rob Johnson.
@TheLstiffy Buffalo had two losing seasons in the 90's (1994 and 1997) - the success wasn't isolated to the early 90's. People say Flutie had "no chance" when, in his entire career, he had just one chance taken from him, and lost every playoff game he ever started in the NFL. He was awful in the late 80's/early 90's, had one top 10 season in '98, was mid-range and serviceable in '99 and '00, and his skills vanished within a year of leaving Buffalo.
@ssaleem92 Flutie tried to ride Brady's coat tails to a ring at the end of his career and that didn't work out, either. He was destined to retire ringless at the NFL level ;)
guys c-squared is not worth arguing with i remember him he used to post on the buffalo bills message boards. he loves to ride rob johnson's d**k too.

Doug Flutie was named Most Outstanding Player in six seasons in the Canadian Football League:
1991 - 1994, 1996 and 1997. He has earned my respect!
