You wanna know what killed Cartoon Network? Disney and Adult Swim.

First all that live action shit on CN started about when the Hanna Montana crazed started. CN and Nick did not want to lose viewers to Disney so they started making live action shows to try and compete. IT FAILED.

And the whole purpose behind CN was 24 cartoon station. Adult swim now takes up half of CN air time when it used to be 2 nights a week.

I know I'm 18 haha but I still enjoy some cartoons...but CN has gone to hell. I'm lucky enough to even catch ed, edd, n eddy or courage the cowardly dog. For awhile, they were showing the power puff girls. Over all, these new shows are crap. Especially the live game shows they have now. It's CARTOON network, not GAME SHOWS network. If I could, I'd relive the 90's again...I'd appreciate it much more.

For all you fans like myself that liked these shows better I tested the "kids of today should watch old cartoons" thing, (being a nerd lol) I put in a VHS with old 90s cartoon network (and a few nickelodeon) cartoons on it and showed it to some kids I was babysitting and after about 4 shows they asked me "hey what channel is this? they never show stuff like this when we watch tv." I told them it was CN and they didn't believe me -_- shows how different it is now I guess...

Back then, Cartoon Network was a truly mature and quality channel, with shows both kids and adults can watch. Now its pathetic remnants are leeching off the Canadians and Lucasarts. But George Lucas and Canada have their limits, and soon there will only be two choices for CN: return to the old ways or fall apart and dissapear.
