I've seen the Cars live 1980 in Washington on a visit from Germany. I was 29. Beatles, Led Zeppelin & Jethro Tull were my favorites.

When I "wasted their time" for the first time, the sound knocked me off my feet. It was love "at first sight", "just what I needed".

Ever since, music from the cars "drives" me nuts. The memories I have with music of the Cars "shakes me up".

Every band member was so talented, their sound is so unique.

What a tragic that Ben left us so early.
