@Sprebound Its probably the same as canada, it has to be demilitarized before civilians can fly it. an example would be the f5 you could buy one in the states and fly it but here even if you purchased it you wouldn't be able to fly it. however if the military had one they would be able to fly it. I am not sure where a list of what we can have here is.
I love the air races Ive been going for nearly 30 years now. By the way what day did you get your photo of the Chinook?? If it was Thursday or Friday we likely met that day. Im a Crew Chief on that particular bird.
My only problem with air racing culture is the shitty oldies music.
