@MrFunnyb11 - The US took a backseat in the Libyan conflict thanks to Obama getting cold feet, otherwise this War would have been over months ago, if the full force of US power was used.

This is mainly a European led defense of the Libyan people along with other Arabic backers. Gadaffi already suppllied EU countries with 80% of Oil before the war.....so it wasn't really about Oil either.

-Hundreds of rebels were killed on Monday from a failed advance to the entrance of the city of bani walid.

-Explosions at an arms depot in Tripoli near the Tripoli airport has reportedly left several rebels killed. It is not yet clear what caused the blast but many suspect pro gaddafi militia, who were all suspected to be whiped out by the rebels.

I will concede that that may be true. But is it better that Libya now be controlled by foreign interests that work through terrorist proxy? NATO bombed the very people it said they were trying to help. It was clear by where they were bombing that their only interest was to oust Ghaddafi and help the NTC. You can see the foreign companies and governments foaming at the mouth trying to claim themselves "friends" of Libya. But of course history shows they only want a puppet government.
