Unfortunately there are not enough resources on this planet to bring all of their people up to the standard of living we currently maintain in western societies. I have lived in China for 2 years and loved both the country and the people. However the government was terrible and as Peak oil and geopolitics come into play, we will ultimately be at war fighting over the last remaining resources on this planet.
