I own this DVD of an Evening with the Dixie Chicks - all the musicians on this are excellent - the violin is one of the best I ever heard - these girls TOGETHER are mega-talented and the backup band is one of the best I ever heard too .

Although many disagree with Natalie Maines comments, ( I thought there was still free speech in the USA ???) , I bet many will still agree these three together created some exceptional music ! I miss this group - Courtyard Hounds -=good , not great like this

My son choked on a grape when he was a little over a year old. This song was my song to him before his accident, which left him disabled. They figure he was gone from this world for 15 minutes before they revived him and brought him back to us. He spent 9 days in a coma and a little over a month in the PICU unit. He is truly a champ and I greatly admire his will to live, love and laugh. He has become my inspiration and my teacher.... Love this song.

Everytime I hear this song. I think about my friend Connor Simonson. He was a friend and neighbor of mine, and within in a week, he was diagnosed with Leukemia and given Chemotherapy. Later that week, on the first Friday in November in 2006, he was found unresponsive and was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. Connor was just 10 years old at that time, and when I hear this beautiful song, I just think about his funeral, when this song was played along with a slide show.
