My friend's oven's heating source one time caught fire and they had to use a whole fire extinguisher on it and it still burned and they had left their house and almost had to call the fire department but eventually the fire put itself out and there was smoke everywhere but the fire alarm didn't go off though because they don't have one in their kitchen. They also had to get a new oven because of it.

@hyperbaricchicken101 well actually my friend did have a smoke detector in their kitchen but the fan was on keeping it ventalated.
