I was horrible when i first started! All I can say is practice! Just a few tips:
Unless your scratching, turn your turntables so there facing you. You also have to learn how to manipulate the vinyl in a better manner.Know your records, know where the break is and where to drop the next track. When you make a pitch adjustment, make smaller adjustments. If you have belt drive I can understand! Well good luck! Keep practicing and you will get there!
u need a lot of practicing with the pitch, but it is not bad for the first time

How do the CD decks compare to vinyl? I've used vinyl but not the CDs.

Cdj is easy to play and a lot of technic that vinyl can not do. but Vinyl is classic, old school and soud better than cdj.
Ps. Vinyl is the best
