wow, i didn't know this project was even going on! jessica would have loved it. i deployed with her both times to iraq, seeing her more the first tour than the second. often, we would have guard shifts together all night long, joking around and secretly listening to our IPODs when we weren't supposed to..she really made the time pass..was always a pleasure working with her and having a few beers with her..always in my thoughts, jess..

It is us who needs to thank her! We are also so incredibly blessed to have everyone who came. There is more to come in her honor. The tack lockers they built are going to be painted with a mural. On the mural will be an American flag that will "house" another plaque in her honor.
