  • I have a 54 Chevy that i want to install a straight front axle. I understand and love it!

  • very hot and my dream car great work.

  • right on very kool

  • Right on...its a hiboy. Not many racers go that route anymore but it was effective when they first used the strategy and its still effective strategy now.

  • Needs more rust.

  • love it , sweet

  • Wow, lots of opinions here. Some people dont like or understand why its built this way, but most love it. Its definitely a cool car to drive daily and is an ongoing ptoject. More bodywork, paint and a blower motor are next

  • I didn't really get into the gassers much at first. You know, as the modern stuff came out and and through trial and error they figured out that the "front end way up in the air" thing wasn't necessary. I don't recall if there was one big thing that was done or came along that made that be the case but I always like the front enigne dragsters and the nitro funny cars from back then. I like the gassers now, I think think they look pretty cool the way they sit and sound. very agressive cam there.

  • My grandpa's first car was a '50 Fleetline. I'd like to find one and turn her into a gasser. Only engine choice I have even considered would have to be a Cadillac 500. Love your car, great job.
