  • Grande! Ottimo lavoro! ;)

  • superb! Pink Floyd and JMJarre were the guys who made love synth. And now at last I got a MOOG Little Phatty. Let's see what I can do with him.

  • PUSHHHHHHHH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Why didn't you use the "toggle" function for the Push-button?

  • Nice done!!!! Have a mopho k,And want to get a tetra 4 more voices......

  • OMG-AWESOME! thanks! :-)

  • awesome

  • is it normal I feel high? oh the song ended it's gone.

  • @Lebaron1987 lol acid flash back to your pink floyd days all of a sudden?

but nah i dig it, i heard oxygene #4 the other day and i had a similar experience

  • great work!

  • Hey, can you program the sequencer within the box or do you need external control?

  • @wearurheart You can program it from the Tetra but I'm pretty sure it's veery slow to do.

  • Excellent work my friend !!! : )

  • Awesome demo!!! On day i hope to own a prophet 08 and a minimoog voyager xl an a moog tuarus bass pedal!

  • @hiian123 LOL thats like more than 15 grand in synths dude! i want all those too, theyre so awesome, i dont so much like the voyager XL for its price tho

  • @Taud haha yeah i wish i had a ton of money to go crazy on synths haha oh but now id prob pick an Alesis Andromeda A6 over the Prophet

  • @hiian123 i heard they had a problem with the power supply burning out the whole board tho, not sure how true it is, but it would make sense why its discontinued now, i agree it does sound quite nice, im not sure which i would pick though

  • Fantastic! Really shows off the Tetra! I think you've helped Dave Smith move a few more of these puppies!

  • Excellent, thanks ...

  • DSI and Moog are my obsessions!

  • Sounds really great. Which one do you think sounds better, the Tetra or the Little Phatty?

  • This is the best cover 5*****

  • haha.. well done!

  • PUSH IT!

  • woow. awesome!

  • Fucking awesome!

  • nice nice nice work!!

    Look at my attempt :)

  • bellissimo!! BRAVO!! :D

  • EXCELLENT! anyone can make weird noises, but you've recreated a classic. I'm savin' up for PEK. I'll bet you can do Frankenstein, too. I luv freakin out with the synth sounds I've created on Motif, can't wait for PEK (DSI poly Evolver keyboard)

  • @SeeNoEvil5 The Poly Evolver is a beast. I used to own one of those, and a Moog Voyager Signature, an Acess Virus TI Polar, some Elektron stuff...

Im more or less down to Vaz Modular now because you can create pretty much any Analog synth sounds, exactly, with it. For god knows what reason it isn't known too well and was released in 1999 - 2000 which blows my mind!

Anyway, the PEK is an excellent choice, and would be very hard to replicate. Its quite unique.

  • Nice! It has that old analog quality that's missing these days. Nice rendition! Just add some laughter and some airport noise! You're there!

  • GREAT!

  • what a sound, fantastic.

  • Great!!!!!!

  • GREAT JOB

  • oh oui !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Sei un geniàccio!

Se metti insieme una band tienimi presente ;-)

  • nice

  • sooo cool. thanks for posting!

  • gattobus you are the best !!!

  • I've just got my Tetra today - what are the chances of you releasing this patch ... i'd love to have a play and my dad would go crazy if he could hear it ...

    *begs*

    Spencer Steel - UK

  • I will do anything for this patch.

  • for the crash a sample? out of creative ideas after? :D

    very nice song anyway!!! :)

  • Are you using a square wave?

  • Amazing

  • really really awesome!!!

  • PUSH IT!

  • Gorgeous sound ^^ i can have interest from this box, but if i have enough maybe i took a prophet

  • off the hoook!!!!!!

youe demo is reason why i will buy a Tetra, i live near dave smith instruments and will drive by there and let them know

they should have you as a developer. it is no easy project knowing how to re-create this pink floyyd version

    peace

  • 5*****

  • bloody hell, that sounded great running through my 5.1 surround system. excellent video gattobus!

  • Brings me back to the days i'd come home high as a kite and listen to dark side of the moon.on my head phones. That particutar track in stereo would make the hair stand up on the back of my neck. great re-creation!

  • my god i worship you. awesome recreation of something so massive using something so little. well done!

  • I watched this and then listened to the original version and I like this a lot more.

  • Amazing little machine, and very well impression of 'on the run', as always ;) 5*****

  • Great track! I have a Tetra as well... amazing stuff! Great work, 5*. Cheers.

  • Excellent job! I think the Mopho and the Tetra sound a bit better than the Prophet '08, and it's not just because of the sub oscillator. I think DSI may have tweaked the sound on them a bit too. The filter has more character.

  • muito legal... como evoluem as coisas... antes era necessario uma parafernalha!

  • I own the small brother, the MOPHO.. it's already lots of fun to play with, but now I really need to get the TETRA, too :-)

  • awsome sound.

Where did you get the reverb from?

  • Digitech Hardwire RV-7.

It sounds great for a stompbox!

  • hi gattubus , that is one amazing little box.....how do you do it!!! excellent:) I'm off to google it now and hoping it's not as expensive as the prophet 8 ..and by the way happy new year to you and family:)

  • Thanks Mick, and best wishes to you too!

No, the tetra is not so expensive for what it does...

    It's about half a Prophet 08...

It's a killer machine for a Vangelis fan like you!

  • Next time please post in HQ if you get such great results ;-). Sounds quality way better then.

  • Top !!!!!

    I am wordlessss

  • Thats one hell of beast, a tricky track to emulate.. 5*

    Steve

  • Lol Gianni, you have done it again......brilliant! I never get tired watching your posts keep 'em coming:-)

  • Thats fuckin wicked, great job. Need me one of those

  • Very, very cool my friend. I want one of those!

  • Complimenti, sei davvero bravo! Questa musica poi è fantastica... 5 stelle

    Ju

  • man i think we can give u any instrument and u will make it sound good :)

  • I seriously think there is more to this synth than what is shown here xD nice one though

  • sei veramente forte, complimenti! :)

  • Great job. And I didn't realise you could preview the voices like that on the TETR4.

  • not bad for $800!

  • Nice .

  • I think this is one of the best On The Run covers I've heard! Great job!

  • That was actually excellent! nice job!

  • Que the screaming!!! :D AWESOME!!!

  • Fantastico video. ¡Que disfrutes de tu nuevo "juguete"! ;)

  • awesome, damn, crazy, perfect, 5/5*

  • looks like a cool toy to play with

  • Nice one, so happy you've posted some videos again these last two weeks :-)

  • That sounded great. I don't think the Tetra has internal effects since it's pure analog. What external effects devices did you use?

  • Only a bit of reverb... that's all.

Panpot, modulations, everything is done using LFOs and the step sequencer.

  • finalmente una demo seria di questo piccolo grande sintetizzatore!

  • very good work, as always.

  • great job ! what a synth ! Could make my evolver jaleaous !

  • Very nice... You don't happen to live near Austin, do you? Would love to apprentice under you!! LOL!!! You have a great grasp of synths...

  • I think hes from italy.

  • That sounds so awesome!
