Everytime I listen to this song, there is an entire love story that unfolds in my head. It has it all, the mystery, the passion, the undying connection between two people who are so completely in love. I felt that way immediately after hearing this song for the first time, just about 30 years ago...and I still do today. This song takes my breath away...

I miss the ORIGINAL Bell Records mix from 1973. It's more raw and the vocals are better on the 73' mix. I was among the few that was into this song when it was first released in 1973, a year and a half before "Mandy" happened.
