I saw Patti and Luther at King's Dominion in 87 and they made park sellout that day!!! The crazy Part is I think that Regina Belle open for them!! They played were on stage from the 7:30pm opening till the 12:00am park closing!! I have wanted to marry Patti ever since!!!!

She did do a better performance in my opinion in 1976 on the MIDNIGHT SPECIAL, it was live and it was AWESOME the took it off youtube due to copy right infringemnt crap, but wish you guys could see that one when she was in her prime

@frsh6272, True! Miss Patti hit her prime as soon as she hit the stage and she never left it! Just amazing! The female "singers" of today should watch her performances and feel ashamed! She never needed skin tight outfits or controversial lyrics to cover up her lack of talent... This woman is truly blessed and has been blessing the rest of us since day one! Timeless...

@poppysfit I'll agree with on everything however even Patti herslef said she had to use gymics to get noticed. Of course she used contreversial lyrics, her biggest hit ''LAdy Marmalade'' is about a hooker and she may not have had skin tight outfits but she did have outragous ones and outragous hair. You may not like singers of today, but when it comes to gymics PAtti had gymics too, that's what showbusiness is about

I saw Patti and Luther at King's Dominion in 87 and they made park sellout that day!!! The crazy Part is I think that Regina Belle open for them!! They played were on stage from the 7:30pm opening till the 12:00am park closing!! I have wanted to marry Patti ever since!!!!

This is one of my many many many favorites. For those who don't like Patti, that's fine, but don't be rude or crude. I like the roughness because it is like she just pours every piece of her pain into herr singing. Maybe that's why I like her so much...singing was my way of releasing my own hurts. Sing on Miss Patti...you are God's angel to the world.

this women is not only the queen of rock n soul in my opinion rightfully the queen of soul. but she is the Queen of vocals as a as i am concerned, not no one has been able ti di what Pattie does with her voice. honestly she is just it. i wish she could blow this range of vocals again. she is and never was to be messed with vocally. take note all you wanna be so called sangers out there.
