Jesus came to show the true nature and character of God. God is all powerful; yet He is not a tyrannt, but rather a humble servant. God chose not to cast stones, but to withhold judgement. God chose to face the punishment of death that we all deserve upon himself . God is Love. If you've been delievered from being gay, then that is fine...but do not tell others that they need to be to be acceptable to God. Through Christ, we can all come to God. Without Christ, none of us can.

Thanks Brother for speaking that message into my spirit man. I've been a homosexual since I was 9 years old. I've kind of given up on deliverance, fasted and prayed, sought God with intensity, hated my sin, loathed it at one time, now I am indifferent about the whole thing. Tired. Why God filled me with the Holy Ghost is beyond me. I am 44 years old, haven't practice in years but in my mind I think of men all the time and2me it "feels" normal. Straights like to convince people like you and me that being homosexual is wrong, but it is not. I do agree with them on one point though, that having sex just to have sex is not a good thing (note - straights have this problem). Marriage is a legal recognition and has nothing to do with God or religion! In other words two people can stand before God and be married in the eyes of God, and in the old testament you were aloud many marriage partners.

Dee is but ONE of many testimonies of people whom God has changed. The problem is not that GOD can't and doesn't do it. I think the problem is you LIMIT God and think He can't change these things. I dont think its scriptural to categorize sins as more/less severe than others. the issue is that homosexuality is a lifestyle that is lived out 24/7, therefore how can one know God personally if this sin is always there. the difference i believe, is that it is lived out day-to-day, where as other sins are not. all sins require repentance. to repent is to turn from your old ways and to the lord.

I've kind of given up on deliverance, fasted and prayed, sought God with intensity, hated my sin, loathed it at one time, now I am indifferent about the whole thing. Tired. I lived in the closet. It was the same feeling when I stole something, it felt wrong.

Dee is but ONE of many testimonies of people whom God has changed. The problem is not that GOD can't and doesn't do it. I think the problem is you LIMIT God and think He can't change these things. He said in His Word that homosexuality is SIN. It's just one of many sins Kim. Can God change an adulterer or alcoholic or murderer or is there NO HOPE?

I am a BISEXUAL and no matter how much I pray, wish, and repent it will never go away. God had also showed WHEN he was molested and how it came into him to then wreck his marriage prior to ANY of my own knowledge. You CANNOT deny such things when you're face to face with them.

In the Old Testament adulterers (such as I was) would get stoned to DEATH if they were caught in their sin and you try to justify your sin? WOW. But the day I gave my life over to Christ, I was set free from all of that. I no longer have any kind of desires towards a woman. None at all! Ever since that day I have struggeled with lust, fornication, and homosexual desires. I have prayed, fasted, read my word and everthing else I know to do. Most Christians like myself who struggle with this sin have prayed and fasted and studied the bible on this issue more than you ever will. I wish you had the answers but you don't. If praying and reading the bible is the simple and easy answer. Do me a favor -being the great man of God you are-pray for me for deliverance. I want to be straight with all my heart. I have always loved Jesus since I was a child and I fought hard for 42 years to deny this side of me. Finally at age 42 I lost my job and in an attempt to avoid sinking into depression I decided to try sex. Now after 11 months of sex with over a dozen men. I feel lost and I need your prayers.

Religion is a memetic control mechanism.
It is a mind virus!
It is a self referential belief system which contains within itself the instructions for its own propagation. It attaches itself to a host by declaring itself an absolute, divine truth with no way to prove or disprove it, and promises that something bad will happen if it is not accepted.
