right click on the sound icon and hit playbacks

you'll c that there is a icon says realtk w.e junk ok

then you double click on it

then hit levels on the top tabs

then you see output bc peep and some other junk

just hit blance on output then its right there

these programs are preinstalls so you could find it but its gay cause its hard to find

It's simple if youv gone to recording devices-Show disabled Devices- then if it isnt there on vista start menu search goto:Windows update and then Update the computer. and then itll be done and streo mix should work again- thanks hope this help'd

windows vista does have a recorder, search recorder in vista search bar.

I know what your problem is. You have a Sigmatel sound card and it doesn't have the stereo mix option. If you have a gateway then there is no possible way of getting it but if you have dell then they do have a driver download for it.

Try using WMCapture to record if you do not have stereo mix. Use FRAPS if you are recording game.
