My mother has alzheimers and she sings this song as a way to try and keep her sanity, however briefly that will be. She thinks she can overcome this horrible disease by prayer and positive thinking. It won't happen...

I listen to rock and roll and country music I loved listening to him he had what it took to sing. this is the first time I had listen to him in all yrs when I grew up as a teen. I never knew he wast this funny

I just LOVE Tom T. Hall ! My ex-husband is from Olive Hill, Ky. He is the 19th child out of 19 !!! So, he "turned me on " to Tom T. Hall. I've seen the stautue of Mr. Hill as you cross over the bridge to that "BIG CITY" of Olive Hill ! LOL And I still to this day, love his music. Thanks to Tom and to my Ex...

Thanks for posting this! I grew up on Tom, went to see him promote his box set at Borders bookstore late one night while I was EXTREMELY pregnant! He asked who he should make it out to and I said "I don't care, you could make it out to 'Mud' for all I care, I just love you so much!" I told him my name, but he made it out to Mud anyway! ;o) I got my photo made with him which was priceless. Hate his politics, love the man and his music. Got every album he ever made.
