  • What type and size the front tires on STOMPER the red and white baja?

  • Comment removed

  • i have a 1974 sun bug that i have bajaed and i love it its amazing i've impressed several people with it

  • if you did not get my email from before its kylebacon42@gmail.com hauler at me if you can

  • Wow that really looks like great fun out in the fresh snow. I am working on getting my bug on the road and really enjoy watching your clubs outting videos. Keep them comeing.

  • The red and white one seems like it has really tall gearing. But since it is built for the dunes, I guess that makes sense..

  • another sweet video. I am convinced to stop building my bug as a street car and make it a baja. Now I just need the body kit, a non-narrowed front beam, non dropped spindles, longer axles and change the ring and pinion from 3:88 to? maybe 4:56 or 5:12 and the motor is probably too big. So nothing major...fuck!

  • @nitrojetta pshaaww.... it's only money :) And the motor can't be too big for offroad, I've got a 2.0 type 4 in mine and often wish for more power. Most you'd need is a cam swap to make it more offroad friendly.

  • @flaircraft it's a 2332, 48 IDA's and 1.4 to1 ratio rockers @190hp. I can get another front end easy and change the ring and pinion. looks like longer axles is gonna cost me the most.

  • @nitrojetta Sweet, twice the power I've got... as long as you gear and set CR accordingly for your intended use (trails, or dunes, or mud, or...) you should be able to embarass the f**k out of 4x4's all day long! I'm constantly amazed at what my Baja will do compared to my friend's CJ.

  • What kind of motor/mods are in that red+white baja? It sounds badass... is that a radiator I see on it?

I keep wanting to join you guys' trips but it always looks so cold and my Baja has a lot of holes that leak/blow cold air :)

  • @flaircraft 13b mazda rotary I believe, its built for the dunes. tons of mods front and rear. I dont even know what all he has. its well built to say the least. only 2 cars in that group had heat! my car has alot of "drainage" holes. they come in handy! just duct tape all the dash holes and your all good.

  • @flaircraft After you duct tape the holes, ditch the J tubes! Go back to stock with heat risers and rerun heater tubes.

  • @cffnmkr13 My Baja has a Type 4 motor with the factory pancake cooling, so the heating setup on the engine doesn't hook up to what's on the car unfortunately :( I have often thought about getting a gas heater out of a Thing and putting it in though...
